The Boot is definitely our go to spot for Cajun style crawfish. We love sitting on the patio during crawfish season and drinking some cold beer! Also love the buffalo shrimp poboy and the seasoned fries. Oh and don’t forget to get the Mama Dup bread pudding! It’s oh so good!

These outdoor bar is very chill and it is located in one of the most popular streets in Houston at the Heights, 20th St., with a large parking place, more than likely you’ll find where to park and they don’t charge for it. When you go inside, you get in line and you order your food. They’re famous for their crawfish, I personally don’t like crawfish, but my friend ordered some and she seemed to enjoy it, I order a Poboy with shrimp and I must say that they took over 30 minutes to bring my order, if you order crawfish you’ll get it soon but anything else takes a long time, I truly wasn’t impressed with the food and the services below average, I don’t think I will ever come back, but if you like outdoor energy and crawfish, this might be the spot for you.

Highly disappointed. I should have listened to the last review. Drove a long distance to eat one of the voted best crawfish (highly disagree), had to drive around to find parking ( not enough parking), waited in the long line to get food that cost over $100 and what a flop! We received more heads then tails lots of dead weight in the serving ! It’s impossible to get anyone attention not enough staff. The kids plate barely any shrimp, flavorless poboy. I don’t believe in food critics anymore but more so reading the current reviews.

This place came highly recommended, and honestl it was a huge disappointment. The only thing they got right was the flavor of the crawfish. We ordered 4 pounds, and there’s no way we actually received that. It looked short from the start, and once we began eating, it got worse. They stacked a few larger crawfish on top, but underneath were tons of empty shells claws and small crawfish. At one point, I thought my husband was putting his shells back in the tray. That’s how bad it was. We brought it to the bar’s attention, and their “solution” was to give us seven extra crawfish. Seven. After paying $10.99/lb for what ended up being a lot of dead weight, that response was honestly insulting. It also felt unnecessarily difficult to get help or have the issue addressed properly. Between the overpriced food and beer, the long lines, and the overall experience, this place just isn’t worth it. There are way too many better crawfish spots in Houston to waste your time or money here. You’ve been warned.

The Crawfish and the shrimp were TRASH Tasted like they were cooked in left over water with very little to no seasoning. However the service and atmosphere was GREAT.its definitely a place for good vibes 👌
