Alamo Rent A Car in Houston Hobby Airport is near the airport in a remote location like all the other rental car companies. The Alamo Rent-A-Car is together with its sister company National Car Rental in the same location and uses the same shuttle buses. The check-in counters are next to each other but you can check in at the National Car Rental counter if there is no agent available at the Alamo counter. They have 3-4 shuttle buses that go between the airport and the rental car lot. My wait time for the shuttle bus is about 15 minutes. The driver was very nice and the agent at the check-in counter was helpful.

Shuttle from the airport was easy and we only waited a minute or two. Driver was extremely friendly. We were able to go straight to the car, but I did pop in the office just to see where to head for our specific aisle. The employee was helpful and walked over to show us exactly where to go. Everything about the car was in working order and it was clean. Only took a minute to head out of the lot. Very pleased. I used to always use budget as they are a bit cheaper, but they always seemed to try to charge me for something that I’d have to fight (gas/tolls). Have rented from Alamo the last handful of rentals and never had an issue.

When we first picked up our car, it was pretty late in the evening and The car didn’t smell quite right. While we were exiting, Jonathan would not let us leave with the car that didn’t smell good and new and clean so he went and got us a replacement car and came back and we switched out cars. He moved our luggage out of the old car into the new car and he was so pleasant and sweet about it. This is such a great experience we had. Then we had a low tire and when I came back to return it, I let the lady know her name was Shay and she was so wonderful. Gave us a small credit to make up for the last time that we had and also reported it back so that the corporate office called us to find out exactly what happened. Alamo treated us so amazing and we are so grateful for their wonderful service.

Shar Perry-Nance, the Customer Service Representative, was beyond helpful in assisting me with my rental. She was incredibly accommodating and made the entire process smooth, helping me get on my way without any issues. She greeted me with a beautiful smile and maintained a genuinely upbeat attitude and spirit throughout. She was simply amazing. Paul assisted me both times I’ve rented from this location, and each experience has been seamless. He was courteous, efficient, and professional during check-in. His positive energy stood out, and he made sure I stayed on schedule for the airport shuttle. He is consistently helpful and reliable.

We absolutely loved renting from Alamo! The staff are kind and respectful from the moment you pick up your rental to the time you drop it off. The car was clean and very well kept. I would absolutely rent from Alamo again! Their pricing for rentals is also exceptional.
