This place is a joke. They still use paper receipts. They tried to scam me by charging $16.99 for refuel even after I refilled the gas tank. Owner said I had to show the gas receipt to remove the charge. What a stupid and shady owner! He can’t scam people like that. The funny thing was he asked if I refueled the tank before finalizing the transaction. I told him yes and one of his guys went and checked the fuel tank level. He still had a gall to charge the fee. Folks, don’t go to this place! Go to Enterprise next door

This is going to be long. Arrived to pick up the Ford Mustang I reserved. I prepaid and had a $45 balance for the insurance I opted for. Upon arrival the wait was 30ish minutes. 1 person ahead of me, but the printer was the hold up. Finally, I'm about to get my vehicle and i state "I'm here for the Mustang" and I'm told "we don't have it" and I would be driving a Toyota Tacoma. I then am provided a rental agreement that shows NOT 45 due when I drop off but $200!!!!! He then provides the correct agreement and i am off. Drop off 😤 I am handed a receipt for $200 due, he tells me to call customer service!!!!! We argue he makes a call and handed me another receipt for 95 due! We argue he makes the call again and hands me me a receipt for $46.08 not correct but at this point my mind is blown, I am beyond angry, been there for an hour and just want to leave. No professionalism which it is not to be found these days so that is fine but my goodness birthday fun turned into nightmare dealings before and after! Apparently, the issue was they charged me an additional hour and an additional protection plan.....supposedly

Absolutely horrible. They rent out cars with service issues and overdue oil changes. I've worked in rental for over a decade and this is definitely a costly negligence.

1. car interiors are not clean, not even close. 2. cars are not well maintained. got a tire with a hole had to keep filling it up every morning. they keep renting out the car even though they know it has a bad tire. went back there to get another car, also had a bad tire, completely flat next morning. 3. dishonest - second time I went, they wanted to give me same car with bad tire, said technician came and fixed it, but I saw them putting air in it the very next morning. 4. selection is terrible.

SCAM!!! This budget/Avis location is a SCAM! I provided my reservation number and they informed me that they don’t have any car available and they accidentally over booked. I told Avis I paid $25 to Uber to them. He told me they have another car on the lot for $40 more a day. After haggling him down he settled on $20 more a day. I then realized it was a SCAM! They offer great rates online then once you arrive and are in need of a car they up charge you. DO NOT BOOK WITH AVIS or BUDGET AT 6935 Kirby Drive, Houston, TX 77030!!!
