-5 stars needed ✨ Rented a car at Houston International Airport with only 7700 miles on it. Drove to my hotel, got out of the car and noticed a burn smell. It seems that the oil cap on top of the engine was missing. I called for National to send a tow truck immediately and replace the car. National refused to bring me a car. Refused to send an Uber so I could go get another car until the tow truck driver arrived. The tow truck driver was rude, disrespectful and took four hours to get there. Fortunately, I did not wait on National and got another rental car on my own. In addition, National tried to say that I was responsible for the car that broke down even after I stopped driving it. I clarified with them that it was not the case and gave them the reasons why. National ruined this trip because it was a short turnaround and I spent half of the time dealing with not only a broken vehicle but a tow truck driver from hell. 🤬 I was also charged full price with no discount for this horrible experience. The corporate office at National needs to look closer at its policies and procedures and make changes immediately IMO.

Probably the first review for a rental I ever made. It was a great experience! Much less security deposit required to rent. Option to select your car from available lineup. Staff was very friendly. I will use this company again. One of the best experiences I have had.

I continue to choose National at IAH because of the consistently outstanding service from the team. Donovan always goes above and beyond with his continued support and exceptional customer service, making every rental experience smooth and stress-free. Matt is very personable and always makes the rental experience excellent. On my most recent visit, I had my first interaction with Victor in Returns, and he was just as professional, efficient, and welcoming. This team consistently delivers an outstanding customer experience, and they are the reason I continue to do business with National. Thank you all for setting the standard for excellent customer service!

Amazing experience. Best car i have ever had while renting from anywhere in the world. I was initially booked with Alamo but the counter was closed and the signs mentioned that National car can help me. Sam on the counter was so helpful and she processed my rental with a debit card as swiftly as possible. When i went up to get my car. I was treated with 7-8 different options. All amazing rides. I took a Genesis GV80 and to my surprise it was brand new. With only 3-4 miles on the odometer. The person there also helped me on how i can install a toddler seat. The return experience was great as well. Just came back, showed that the fuel is full and that's it. Got the receipt of everything paid.
