Southern Standard absolutely knocked it out of the park at our party. From the very beginning, everything about the experience felt first class, and the food was truly outstanding. It was honestly hard to choose a menu because everything looked so good. Now that we have tasted it, I am convinced you really cannot go wrong. Everything has to be delicious. My personal favorites were the beef short rib, which was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the dessert, which people are still talking about. Guests have been raving about the food nonstop since the event. When attendees remember the meal as much as the party itself, you know you picked the right caterer. As the person coordinating the event, what stood out even more than the food was the VIP level customer support from Vince. He was unbelievably accommodating and patient with all my questions. He handled a few last minute changes, including dietary adjustments and a couple of things I completely forgot, with calm professionalism. He truly made me feel taken care of throughout the entire process. The onsite staff were just as impressive. They were professional, polished, and genuinely happy to be there serving their delicious food. That positive energy makes such a difference at an event. I do not currently have another event on the calendar, but now I am trying to come up with one just so I can have Southern Standard cater again. They were fantastic in every way, and I would recommend them without hesitation.

We recently ordered from Southern Standard Catering for our Southwest Presbyterian Church Sunday group dinner, and the experience was outstanding. The lasagna was a huge hit—several people commented that it was "the best they'd ever had!" Vince, the owner, communicated clearly throughout the process and made ordering simple and stress-free. I highly recommend Southern Standard Catering for any event where you need to feed a crowd.

We wanted a quiet but quality meal at home for my wife's birthday with our closest friends... my wife was 2 weeks postpartum so we really wanted something special. Southern Standard delivered and then some. Everything was taken care of--food, plating, menu, and service. full turnkey with no points off in any category. and I've never been able to get my kitchen as clean as they did after our meal. A truly special experience and will be using again. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Such an easy and seamless experience renting with Southern Standard! I’ve worked with Vince on events in the past, and I was always impressed with his professionalism and expertise. I was happy to learn he provided rentals when I needed some for a recent baby shower. Honestly, I was dreading going through the hassle with rentals, but Vince talked me through it and made the whole ordeal very easy! I’ll definitely be renting from him again, and hopefully next time with some of his catering! I got to have some of his food at a recent party and I was blown away! The flavor and the presentation were incredible! Thank you to Vince and his team for standing out on this industry!

The food was absolutely delicious - particularly the salmon - nicely plated, with plentiful portions. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Dave Lee, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Highly recommend!
