I hosted a couple of financial workshops recently, and we catered our lunches through The Hometown Chef Catering Co. First of all, the food was very delicious, fresh and tasty, and lots of it. Yasmin delivered our lunch for both of our workshops so we were happy to see her again. Set up was on time and everything was nicely laid out and ready for us when lunch break came. I can't give 10 stars to Tiffany and Julio and their team, but I would if I could. Simply the best for catered meals and events.

Hometown chef is personable, excited about serving, passionate about quality food, and helpful in pointing you to the right choices to meet your budget. Their food is delicious as well and that is very important! I only have one poor thing to say and it has to do with their braised short rib. It’s an additional $7/$8 per plate to reflect the high price of meat right now, and although it was phenomenal when I tried it during my tasting, I got a piece at my wedding that did not at all taste like what I tried. It was hard and not at all “fall off the bone” like it was supposed to be. Maybe I just got an overcooked piece, but I can’t help but think I wasn’t the only one who got one. I just would say it’s not worth getting a nice piece of meat since you don’t have control of the chances of some getting overcooked. Everything else was amazing!

We'd been talking non-stop about this food ever since we had the tasting. I know my husband loved the salmon but I think the potatoes stole the plate. Silvia and everyone at this company was so easy to work with. She was one of the first caterers to respond to us with an estimate and mock up menus as soon as the query was put out. You can tell she knew what she was doing. Highly recommend!

I can't recommend Hometown Chef Catering enough! The food and service was unbeatable! From our tasting to the wedding day they were very professional and great to work with. Our guests came up to us and said they've been to A LOT of weddings and this food was the best they've had. I could not be happier. We will definitely use them in the future for events!

Hometown was our vendor for the cocktail hour passed hors d’oeuvres for our wedding at The Springs Event Cypress and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. So many of our guests came up to us and told us how delicious everything was! They were also very accommodating for some of the special requests that we had. One of my guests wasn’t able to consume black pepper so they made a special plate for that guest, all the Hors d'oeuvres without black pepper for him, which was very thoughtful. We loved meeting Tiffany and Julio because we can feel the passion behind Hometown and they are just genuinely great people. You can tell that they make their food with love. Our guests absolutely loved the Hors d'oeuvres! Some of them included: - Braised pork belly bites - Tender churrasco skewers - Mini birria taco shooter - Smoked bacon wrapped shrimp - Mini BLT - Short rib and potato vol au vent The owners are easy to work with and really go out of their way to make sure your wedding day is filled with delicious bites. My husband and I were blown away when we went to the tasting, not only by the food but by Tiffany and Julio. They are the sweetest people, seriously! We knew that we made the right choice. I highly recommend and you definitely won’t regret it. Thank you again Hometown!! It was an absolute pleasure working with you.
