I just catered breakfast for a family event with 20 people and spend $442 (including tip/delivery). The food was mediocre and the portions were so small. I ordered "The Convention" breakfast which was "Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Breakfast Potatoes and Buttermilk Biscuits" - it came with literally 20 tiny sausage patties and biscuits total. So one tiny sausage and biscuit per person. I didn't count the bacon but it was a similarly stingy portion. No one had more than two pieces. The eggs were bland. The potatoes were actually good. But overall, it was so embarrassing to have the food show up and it be these tiny trays of hardly any food for over $400. I would have been better off ordering individual dishes for each person from a local restaurant. I thought with the high Yelp and Google reviews I saw, this would be a safe bet! I also ordered a 20 mini pastries for $3.25 each which were like pastries you get at a 7/11. At least if you are overcharging, let the food be good and not like you unwrapped pastries from a Costco haul. Worst of all was the coffee which was watered down and disgusting. Everyone threw theirs out so I just dumped it. What an utter waste of money. Also they only sent 8 cups with the coffee even though the breakfast was for 20. Stingy and bland all around. If you are catering for a small group, please save yourself the trouble and embarrassment and just order takeout from a local restaurant. I wish I took pictures of the spread but I was just too upset. All I took was the coffee which you can tell even from the picture was gross.

We recently hosted a small gathering of 50 guests, and Uptown Catering exceeded every expectation. From the moment we placed our (very last-minute!) order, the process was effortless. The team made everything so easy, professional, accommodating, and incredibly responsive. The lite bites they delivered were not only beautifully presented but absolutely delicious. Our guests couldn’t stop raving, and not a single bite was left behind, every platter was completely cleared! It’s rare to find food that’s both stunning and genuinely satisfying, but Uptown delivered on both fronts. They arrived right on time, pricing was fair, and their service was seamless from start to finish. We’re already looking forward to our next event with them. Highly recommend!

We moved to the area this spring and used Uptown Catering for the first time to cater my daughter’s birthday party. I can’t recommend them highly enough! We will definitely be repeat customers.

I've used Uptown Catering and Lindsay twice now and both times they have been phenomenal. First, I used her about 3-4 years ago for my sister's bridal shower and my guests were VOWED at the table arrangement, floral, and even the to go boxes that they gave me for guests to take food home (because there's always leftover food). I had them do the charcuterie / cheese board and it was a huge hit! Next, most recently, I had them do our firm's Christmas party. This time, I needed rentals (high tops, bar, etc) and it went smoothly and was again excellent. Got rave reviews on the food and everything was just easy. When you have a million things going on for a party, it's nice when the catering is just handled and that's what Lindsay and her team does. Special shoutout to Matt who was an incredible bartender and set up the party for us! We had a great time. I almost didn't want to write this review because I didn't want the secret to get out about what an incredible company they are, but I thought I absolutely need to let the world know. If you're in the Houston area, don't hesitate to use them!

Uptown Catering has been our go-to for all of our office catering needs for years. Lindsay and her team make the process so seamless from start to finish, and we cannot recommend them enough. Whether we need light bites for a small 15-person event, or our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon for 150+ attendees, the food is always delicious and the presentation is top notch. Uptown Catering provides a 5+ star experience every time!
