This place has got to be a COMPLETE!!!!! joke. Being new to Houston I’ve been using the Too Good Too Go” app to find places to eat at so I ordered from here after checking out their website….would NEVER!!!!! visit this establishment again. I know ordering off that App it’s up in the air on what you receive but to give a person OLD!!!!!!! cold overly fried chicken in old grease pieces of crust and a half of sandwich from someone who most likely didn’t eat all of it. At least take some sort of pride in your establishment no matter whether I’m a customer walking in or ordering through a third party. Needless to say I wasted my money cause I left that plate in their parking lot and took my business elsewhere. Ought to be ashamed to stand behind this foolery. Also need much better customer service, I walked in no greeting, walked up to the counter the young lady was so sitting and so caught up In her phone that she didn’t even know I was there in front of her. I had to say “hello” two times bed she even looked up.

No reinventing the wheel, but this is a perfectly satisfying hot chicken place and a welcome addition to the near-UH food scene. Their main "Mega Sando" had a larger chicken breast than any other I've tried, but it otherwise tastes exactly how you would expect. I got mine with their "Hot" sauce, which is just as hot as you would expect from the second-hottest sauce option. The waffle fries were nice too, with a crispy batter coating. This was a competently executed hot chicken meal, no less. While there are plenty of other hot chicken joints in the loop, this is a solid option.

This is newly opened Hangry Joe’s. The owner and staffs were friendly. We enjoyed the fried chicken and fries, unlike other fast food places, they fries their chicken fresh, hence it takes bit waiting time. The price is also very reasonable for the amount of food. Since it’s newly opened, staffs still need to work out some kinks. Highly recommended place for a good meal.

I waited a while for the food even though it was not as busy. After I took a bite, I noticed that the wings were still pink and they were still bloody. This is just unacceptable.

The workers were awesome! They agreed to make my custom request of Oreo and Strawberry milkshake and it was amazing. To the boss of this place, you got a new flavor idea 👀
