Big thanks to everyone at Cooking Girls in Montrose for the amazing service! I had no idea about this place until my ex-girlfriend suggested I try it, and I’m so glad she did. The food was outstanding absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and some of the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Every dish we tried was perfect and cooked to perfection. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the drinks are awesome too. The whole experience was fantastic, and I can’t wait to go back. So, while we did wait a bit to be seated and weren’t greeted until like 5 minutes after we’d been standing there, the food is absolutely amazing. Much respect to the chef. There was one waitress for the whole restaurant, which yeah, it’s cozy/small, but it was packed at 7p on a Friday night, and she was hustling hard. That being said, the service was actually really great. I recommend trying it out, just maybe not at peak time. We’ll definitely be back. Also, thinking about buying them a mint plant as they were out of mint for mojitos.

Awesome place. Was craving some steaming hot Chinese food to complement the cooler weather and tried this diamond with many dishes and cocktails to choose from. I went with the Pepper steak (two chilis of spice) and a side of Vegetable fried rice (it comes with white rice, which ate as well). The food was steaming hot (just how I like it), favorable delicious and brought out to me in less than 8 minutes. Excellent service by Karen my waitress. I’ll be going back to try more of their dishes and dumplings.

The Hot Boiled Fish (without woodear or cilantro) is the best fish soup I've ever had. I could eat this every day. Not fishy at all. The chicken cubes I could eat forever. Honestly, I'm already planning my next trip back.

We went on a weeknight. A friend recommended we go here. I can’t believe we lived so nearby for so long and haven’t been! Has become a new staple. Incredible flavors competing with some of the food you’ll find in bellaire without having to make the drive. Best sichuan food I personally have ever had. Service was great and the portions were a generous size. We ordered the dandan noodles twice. We’ll definitely be back to try some more dishes.
