First time at The Rice Box and I had a great experience. Eric C. was very attentive and provided excellent service from start to finish. Everything was great. Highly recommend
Food didn’t taste good at all. Rice tasted just like a card-box, and the beef tasted a lot of garlic. No flavor whatsoever and only good Thing was the Coke-zero. Absolutely not coming back
We enjoyed almost everything here: the food, the service and the atmosphere. I ordered the chow fun noodles with tofu and it was impressively good. I'm glad they served our food in boxes because of the generous portions. The staff was friendly and the decor as a mix of blade runner and anime. My minor nitpick was the restroom. It was dark (as in lighting) and the toilet... Well it tried to flush.
I can't begin to understand how they could of fumbled this so many times in one order. I ordered curbside. I get there, it says to call a number, I call the number, it goes to voicemail. That's confusing. I click on the link and say I'm there. 6 minutes later I call again. Voicemail. After waiting for 12 minutes I go inside. I go up to the counter and tell them I have a curbside I've been waiting on for 10 minutes. Guy just asks for my name and hands me my food, could not of cared less. I get home, wrong food. Not my order. Idk what it is, I don't want it so I drive back to the restaurant and tell them its not my food. They check the ticket and confirm it's incorrect. He tells me to wait in my car and he'll bring my correct order out in 7 minutes. Finally curbside! NOT. He comes back out very quickly to inform me they are out of the food I ordered. Great so now you guys have messed this up twice. He asks if I want to order something else they can make that. So I look at the menu, he then says, "if you don't want it now I can arrange for you to get the food later." What? No dude, It's been nearly an hour since my original order, I think I want food right now. Also are you saying you could do a gift card? GIVE ME THE GIFT CARD AND THE FOOD. What is happening? I swear to god I wouldn't be writing this review if someone had comped my order or given me a discount or a gift card but no NOTHING. I just got a bunch of food I didn't really want after two trips there that took in total an hour and 15 minutes. Learn to handle those situations better. You said the noodles sold out cause they were popular today? Great sounds like you can SPARE A FREE MEAL.
First time here, and I can definitely see why all my friends recommended it. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious and definitely worth my money! The staff were incredibly friendly and patient considering I didn’t know what I wanted to order. (General Tso was my choice.) Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely be coming back!
