Wife and I went for an early dinner. Low key front in a semi-strip mall in the somewhat crowded Rice Village (parking can be difficult, but there are free street spots). Space was clean, well-decorated and inviting. Fairly extensive menu. Wife had Kung Pao chicken and was able to request no bell pepper and only 1/2 spicy - came out as requested. I had the Spicy Dan Dan (pork) noodle. Both entrees came out quickly. Portions were large. Both were seasoned well and very tasty. My Dan Dan had a little too much oil but otherwise was very good.
two of us had 3 dishes, 2 are good and one is below average. I will suggest you switch Chongching beef and chicken to something else, it’s toooooo oily but not flavorful.
They used to be good and tasty. I have been dinning and to go for years since 2020. It’s getting worse recently. All new dishes they made are awful, now even the old dishes are unacceptable. I don’t know if they changed chief or due to anything else. It’s not the same taste. And the dish as you see is disgusting, and it tastes as it looks.
Second time visiting and this place blesses you with large serving size. You get your food quickly and it’s alway delicious. I recommend checking this place out 5/5 ⭐️
We ordered Kang Pao and Shrimp with walnuts. I didn’t like kang pao as celery in it wasn’t cooked enough. Shrimp was better but it was too sweet for my taste
