Dr.Mack was the best. She was very transparent and very knowledgeable. The staff was really nice and made me feel right at home! Would recommend. As a runner I have Achilles and knee issues with a shoulder stiffness. Dr. Mack explained why and was very informative on this issue! Later today I went on a run and I was literally flying. š
I had a very disappointing first time experience at The Joint Chiropractic. The biggest issue is the mismatch between whatās advertised and what you actually get. The website suggests a thorough, first-time exam and adjustment, but my visit lasted maybe 5 minutes. There was no real evaluation, no meaningful explanation, and the adjustment itself was extremely minimal. The entire experience felt very sales-driven. Almost immediately, there was pressure to sign up for a subscription plan, rather than focusing on actually diagnosing or addressing my issue. It felt like a high-volume modelāmoving patients through quickly and encouraging recurring visits. My session with Dr. Stroop was underwhelming. The adjustment was limited, and there wasnāt much effort to properly assess or prepare the body for an effective adjustment. After a very quick interaction, I was told to come back the next day without a clear explanation why. To be fair, I donāt think this is entirely on her. She seemed kind and well-intentioned, and Iām grateful for that. It was clear sheās operating within the constraints of a franchise model that limits how much time and care she can realistically provideāand she even communicated that. Thatās unfortunate, because it ultimately impacts the level of help patients can receive. Overall, this felt more like a volume-based business than a patient-focused practice. If youāre looking for personalized care and real results, this is probably not the place.
I had an amazing first experience at this location! Dr Mack was super kind, and easily communicated what was going on and what ever was going to happen. Definitely going back! Price is pretty reasonable when compared to private practices. Front desk was so sweet and thorough. Love not having terrible back pain fr.
At least 5-10 years ago, I bought a 10 treatment package. Went to 1st appt & came to the opinion that the chiropractor was very new, lacking skills & under confident! It seemed to me that the Dr. was āafraidā to adjust the lower lumbar, did not adjust my neck, didnāt adjust the thorax that I clearly said was creating discomfort! My opinion was formed over years going to chiropractors w/ great results. I was desperate enough to try again (still had 9 treatments paid for). Went back 2x more & had the same underwhelming experience! Iām Unmotivated to go back to use up my other 7 treatment's. Are that the DCās are fresh out of chiropractic college.
The Joint has been my first chiropractor and I love it here! Dr Stroops is awesome. I love her energy and sheās very knowledgeable and attentive. I recommend her to every one!
