I really wanted to love this place but the coffee was nothing special. The baristas were really friendly and greeted me when i walked in. The interior is small but they do have a bar-style table as well as two big wooden benches. I would love to come back and try their horchata and conchas. UPDATE: I came back earlier today and tried their horchata… it was yummy. 😋
Have been wanting to lean out of my Starbucks habit and support smaller businesses. Saw this place on a quick Google Maps search nearby. The drinks looked amazing and I was not disappointed. I had the strawberry horchata with a shot of espresso for my coffee fix ☺️ the taste was amazing, staff was above and beyond friendly. Will be visiting again soon! The fresh strawberry puree delicious 😋
We stopped by just because we were in the area for a nearby event. That strawberry horchata was delicious. It was a little pricey (at least $20 for 2 little drinks is pricey to me) and a little cramped, so the rooms felt full with only like 8 people being there. Someone said it felt humid but the AC was working great, and it was a very hot day. Overall, I really like what this place is doing.
I had this café on my list of places to visit for quite some time, and unfortunately, I left deeply disappointed. First, I was disappointed with the overall environment. When we walked in, the employee at the counter who took our order was eating cereal, with the cereal box sitting out in plain view. In addition, several customers were standing and blocking the walkway, and there was no effort to direct them or help us find seating after we ordered. The café also felt humid and somewhat muggy inside. After choosing a table, we noticed visible mold on a nearby fan. My sister has asthma, so this was particularly concerning to us. We decided to stay and give the place a chance anyway. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant enough, but the cleanliness issues were hard to overlook. My biggest disappointment was the drink itself. I paid $8.66 for a 12-ounce horchata matcha latte, which felt overpriced for the quality. The drink was poorly balanced—the matcha tasted bitter, and I could barely taste the matcha flavor itself because the horchata flavor was overpowering. Overall, I was disappointed with my visit. The café has a very cute concept and is aesthetically pleasing, but it did not live up to my expectations. Between the cleanliness concerns and the underwhelming drink, I don't feel that the experience justified the price.
I've been a couple times, each time I went my wife and we ordered something different, there was different staff working, and it was different days of the week. The results were the same. Food was great, portions are on the smaller side but the quality is amazing! The coffee...great quality bean, drip tastes fantastic, espresso is drawn out to perfection leaving you wanting more once you get to the bottom of drink.
