This is one of the best espresso I’ve had in my life. I can tell they select great beans and then roast them meticulously. The baristas are top notch as well. I will come back when in Houston every time. I bought some beans but I wish they ship so I can have a nonstop supply.
Best coffee shop in the area. The atmosphere is great — lots of natural light, good music, and a very welcoming vibe. One of my favorite things is that they don’t use flavored syrups; the coffee is served the way it should be. I come here regularly for the cortado and cappuccino. Eric and Allison are always kind, friendly, and happy to help with drink recommendations.
Simply Coffee strives to embody simplicity. Occasionally, this minimalism can lead to unexpected complications. During my visit, my interaction with the staff was somewhat awkward and more complicated than anticipated. However, the quality of the coffee was a redeeming factor. A bit pricey for what was actually offered. Would I recommend it to my colleagues? Yes. Would I consider visiting again? Possibly.
Got a cortado, my friends got their latté (hot & iced). Their coffee is *actually* good, you don’t need a ton of added milk & sugar. I personally would’ve preferred honey, but I embraced the authenticity, wish I would’ve paired it with a truffle. Genius business concept. I love that they have different types of beans to choose from. The review that “they don’t seem to enjoy explaining their concept” is accurate, but the baristas were kind. This is a spot for true coffee enthusiasts.
I went here KNOWING it was a place that does not offer sugars or syrups. If that's what you want, don't go here. If you want a true coffee experience, then this is your spot. I had a cappuccino and the flavor was amazing and smooth. The lady behind the counter was helpful, as I genuinely do not have coffee knowledge and didnt know what to choose. I will be back! Thank you
