I got lost trying to navigate the tunnels entrance, and it was pure happenstance that I ran into the Kopi Cowboy Coffee stand. Tausif was so nice explaining the different types of coffee and providing samples. I tried the original and Samba-Viet lattes. Both were soooo yummy!!! On my first visit, I ended up ordering the Samba-Viet Iced Latte with the coconut syrup #bombdotcom I was so devastated when I swung by the next day and they weren’t there. #myfault for not checking the hours. I thought about their coffee all weekend long and was hyped to see them again on Tuesday. Usually, I’m a sipper, but I inhaled the iced viet latte. Definitely recommending them to all my friends!!

Let me start off by saying their iced Vietnamese coffee is STRONG, as someone who works on a computer on a daily basis, there are days where my energy is completely drained (absolutely famished and my will to live is nonexistent levels of energy drained) so, internet, when I tell y’all this stuff makes me smell colors and feel sounds, it t does in fact, make me smell colors and feel sounds. This is, however, coming from someone who is acclimated to starbucks style coffees, so my little tastebuds do get their adrenaline rush with this coffee since i’m used to lower quantities of caffeine in my drinks. Overall, a solid 10/10 experience, the owner takes the time to remember his customers names and is incredibly kind, if you’re in the tunnels and spot this stand, do let your curiosity get the better of you and try out his coffee. I can assure you that regret will not be in your vocabulary when you try it!

So excited to see Singaporean coffee culture enter the Houston coffee scene! I tried the Singapore latte and it was rich and robust! I recommend trying it with butter- sounds unique but it adds dimension to the flavor! The owner, Tausif, spent a lot of time explaining the drinks. He is obviously passionate about his craft. Will definitely return and try other drinks!

Phenomenal. If you’re downtown or in from out of town and looking for folks who truly appreciate coffee, head over to Kopi. It’s inside the building (go past the Corner Bakery on the track side of the building) and head downstairs. Tosif (my apologies, brother, if I misspelled your name), and his family are wonderful. I was just looking for a dark roast, black, and Tosif whipped up a black Singaporean coffee that brings out every note of the bean. Just wonderful. P.S. Yes, the atmosphere is in the open on a subfloor of an office building. Tosif and his family are the friendly atmosphere at the cart.

I believe Tausif single handedly started my addiction to Vietnamese coffee. It's so good and he knows my order when I walk up. Will recommend over and over!
