We recently visited La Vita Coffee and Burger Vibe on Washington Avenue and honestly loved it so much. It’s such a unique concept with New York style burgers and bagels, Italian coffee, smoothies, and gelato all in one place. I had the strawberry gelato and it literally tasted like a strawberry milkshake. It was so creamy and flavorful. My husband got the cheesy bacon fries and they were really good too. We were too full to try the burgers this time but the prices looked super affordable. We also grabbed half a dozen bagels to enjoy this week and they look amazing. You can truly feel that this is a family owned business. The space is big and welcoming and the owners are so kind. It just feels personal and genuine in a way that’s hard to find. The only challenge is the location since Washington is busy and parking takes some intention, but it is absolutely worth the stop. We’re already planning to go back and try more. Please go support them. It’s a special spot.

I've lived in the neighborhood for a few years and can't believe it took me this long to stop by! We came for breakfast and coffee and had such a great experience. The staff recommended the iced dirty chai with pistachio, and it was an easy 11/10—definitely order it if you visit. The service was warm, genuine, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They even offered my dog a treat, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our breakfast was fresh and delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and you can really feel the care that goes into everything. I love supporting small, family-owned businesses, and this is exactly the kind of neighborhood spot that deserves it. So glad we finally gave it a try—we'll definitely be back!

Don't let the ridiculous parking keep you from visiting La Vita Coffee. We stopped in on a whim and are better for it. The coffee and muffins were tasty and hit just right. Not to mention the wonderful young lady at the counter, amazing smile and friendly! We will be back.

Had the Mexican Burger. Really good and juicy. I would add more Jalapeños though. The burger bread was very fresh. Sweet tea perfect. Brussels sprouts were amazing! The red sauce on the side was amazing too. Goes perfectly with the Brussels sprouts!

Had a wonderful experience from the moment I stepped inside. Really cool interior with lots of seating. Very kind people. Gave me a sample of a “Tropical Matcha” to try which was delicious even though I don’t generally prefer matcha. Had a Wild Berry Smoothie and Iced Chai Latte with Pistachio Milk. Best chai latte in all of Houston! So happy they have all sorts of milk alternatives. Needed a snack so we chose a slice of the Cinnamon Crumb Cake (Gluten Free) and Banana Nut Muffin which we devoured almost immediately. So excited to have finally tried this place out. Will definitely be coming back for more!
