I LOVED their Funfetti Cake Latte I had to get another one before I left. I also loved their Banana Bread. My dad ordered a Decaf Vanilla Latte with a Concha and he also liked it! We enjoyed the atmosphere and their music mix. We went on a Saturday and it was not busy and I like how they have plenty of seating available as well as tables to do any kind of work. The staff were super polite! Will definitely come again.
Las Perras is my go to coffee shop in Houston. The vibes and atmosphere is nice. My drink is the bananas foster iced latte with the creme brûlée foam. I’ve attended two burlesque shows and other pop ups. We celebrated a birthday and they were kind of enough to hold a cake and light up the candles when it was time to bring it out. The drinks can take a little while when packed but it’s so cozy there I have no issues waiting. Never have a bad experience here. Love Las Perras!!
This is an amazing safe space for all communities in the Houston area. I have hosted several events/ sponsored here, ranging from libations for a community run club, cocktail samples during an album release party for a local black female artists, to welcoming local legal community organizers to spread information on individual's civil rights during seminars open & available for free to anyone in the community. The owner goes above & beyond to make this a place great for anyone & everyone to come together host all kinds of events, entertainment, local vendor open markets. Their coffee program is one of the best in the area with high quality coffee & baked goods. Same goes for their cocktails & spirits available.
This place is cute or whatever… To drink I had the Strawberry Matcha w/ whole milk, 10/10. Definitely need to come when they have events. Parking is very limited.. *Follow us for more reviews*
I got the banana foster iced latte and it was honestly perfect. It was sweet without being overpowering, super flavorful, and you could still taste the quality of the coffee. The café itself is so cute with really chill, welcoming vibes. I especially loved the art and all the little details inside. They had ICE out signs on the door, which made it feel intentional about the kind of space they’re creating and added to the overall sense of community. I also ordered the elote and it was SO good, and the chips were incredible too. You can tell they care about quality in everything they serve. I’ve been following them for a while and love how community-oriented they are. It’s inspiring to see such a strong, woman-of-color-led space doing things with so much intention. Definitely worth visiting and supporting.
