Slowpokes Café was sooo good! We ordered a Slowpoke specialty latte (one iced and one hot) and both were amazing. The Cali sandwich with a side salad and the breakfast bagel were both delicious — everything tasted fresh and flavorful. It’s such a great quiet spot to study or get work done. Super chill vibes and a really comfortable atmosphere. I also love that they have a window outside where you can order to-go if you don’t want to dine in — super convenient! Definitely coming back! ☕️✨

This spot is wonderfully chill—perfect to romanticize your morning, unwind, and sip. The latte art was almost too cute to drink! It didn't take long at ALL after I ordered and it was busy too. I also ordered the chicken pesto panino, which tasted amazing—perfectly toasted and savory. Everything here is carefully crafted, delicious, and friendly. I will definitely return often.

Slowpokes Café was sooo good! I love a good bagel sandwich and Slowpoke didn’t disappoint. I ordered a Slowpoke latte and a breakfast bagel. Both were both delicious — everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Can’t wait to come back!

The worst coffee I’ve had in Houston. My friend and I were excited to try this place. The atmosphere is lovely. Very artsy and fun. However, all that truly matters when getting coffee is the coffee. We ordered three different iced lattes and none of us liked our drinks at all. I ordered the Reese’s iced latte and it didn’t even slightly taste like peanut butter or chocolate. It tasted like a bitter, watery, lightly sweetened, generic iced latte. It was shockingly bad. My other friends got an iced caramel latte and one called The Slowpoke which was supposed to be multiple flavors too and it didn’t taste like any of the ones listed either. Also they live up to their name in the fact that service was SLOW. And my chocolate croissant was mediocre. I don’t think I’ve ever not finished a chocolate croissant in my life but I didn’t want to waste calories on this crummy one. Overall it was a huge letdown and we got our orders to go so we didn’t try them there so we couldn’t get anything remade etc.
