I stopped by The Coffee House at West End a couple of times over a long weekend while working remotely, and it was a great place to spend a few hours. The coffee was solid, and at about $3 for a mug of drip coffee, it was an easy choice. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and there were plenty of people working, studying, or having casual meetings. The standout feature is the space itself. It's housed in a beautifully renovated historic church, which gives it a unique character and atmosphere that you don't find in many coffee shops. While the building is huge and offers multiple levels of seating, finding the right spot can still be a challenge during busy times. If you're planning to settle in and work for a few hours, your experience may depend on the day and time you visit. Overall, a great spot to get some work done, enjoy a good cup of coffee, and spend time in one of Houston's more interesting coffee shop spaces.
I come here very often! I love the environment. It’s the biggest coffee cafes in Houston! The floors are all different levels of noise so it’s so good for studying. It’s also generally a beautiful place. Drinks and food is good and fast. Fav study spot. It can get busy
I had been curious about this cafe because it’s right next to a church. It has a cool, industrial vibe, and the place was bustling with energy. Located in the Heights area, the space is incredibly stylish. Just keep in mind that the third floor has a slightly different atmosphere. It seems like a popular spot for people to stay and linger. The parking lot is quite spacious.
Very nice coffee shop, it has 4 levels to find a spot to study/work. Clean restrooms. We went during the busy time and were still able to find a spot to sit. The drinks were great and the pastries were good too. Definitely would recommend for a work or study date
I can feel a quiet and study environment, but also be able to hang out with your friends and a delicious coffee. Very good service, food and spaces.
