I came here during the weekend as an artist that I really liked was DJing. When I first arrived, it wasn’t too packed on the dance floor on the second floor and I noticed this man standing off in the corner and he was completely naked except for a sock around “it”. My friend went up to the bartender who was working in the upstairs bar and asked him if he knew anything about the situation. The bartender said he was “not naked”, confirmed that he was a regular there, and asked that we ignore him and not get close to him. After this because I wanted to watch the rest of the DJ set, I stayed and thought “well if the bar staff is OK with it then it should be safe”. The naked man moved from the corner of the dance floor closets to the DJ to where I was standing by the stairs furthest away from the DJ. I immediately moved. One of the bar staff approached him and seem to be talking to him about what happened. I stepped outside to take a break and then went back up when I was ready, expecting to not see him there. He was still there and he came close by where I was standing a second time. After this I left. I have 3 other friends who went to Boondocks on other occasions and have seen this from him before. I have been to boondocks plenty of times before, I love the events that they do. They always have amazing DJs, but I really hope they take this seriously and consider the safety of their patrons, especially women. I understand, if this was an event where nudity was advertised and accepted then I would know to just avoid events like that. I am not consenting to seeing someone basically naked, who is following me around when I’m just trying to have a good night. If you will be going to Boondocks in the near future, PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND.

Wow, simply wow! This place is extremely disgusting, unclean and you probably need to have some shots before going! The upstairs we went to for the comedy night and it was horridly disgusting! Nothing here is clean, there were old drinks that have been there for days, walls nasty, bathroom is dark and full of graffiti as well as no soap and barely functioning plumbing and sinks! Jukebox was out of order, draft beer was down, service was hard to get and it is beyond a hole in the wall or some “unique” place. Downright disgusting and horrid.

Friday night I and my wife went to boondocks bar and once we got there, we realized there was no wheelchair ramp to get in the place and there was no way for me to get in. I am hoping they build a ramp having a wheelchair ramp and wheelchair access will wrap this place up more than they can imagine. It will bring a lot of business. I am however, saddened that once I got there and couldn’t get in I had to go go elsewhere.. hopefully they will become ADA compliant and I would love to go there. The staff was friendly, but my chair is a bit heavy so they did not try to lift it. I’m not a real big guy lol but please build a ramp guys. I would like to come back and give you an excellent review if you build it, I will come!

I absolutely love the vibe, the people, service and music played here! My only note is the bathroom. The bathroom does not have a lock and does not have any private stalls. If you are looking for privacy for any reason, you just may need to use a different establishment, thats all. If you gotta go, and don't care who else has to gotta with you in the bathroom, go for it! It's bathroom after all. Overall, this is a great place for dancing, and good music.

i was trying to check out new bars i have never been and i'm glad i decided to give this place a try. the place looks like it would be perfect for haunted house because i felt like halloween came early. the entrance is in the back and when you walk in, you feel like you were invited in this secret club. thursday around 9pm there were some crowd but not too busy. i liked the bar area more than the tables because those areas were way too dark. they have patio seating and upstairs however upstairs seemed to be closed. overall i do think it's a chill spot to hangout. they also had this machine and apparently it's a jukebox. it was cool because i've never seen one in my life!
