The Good Friend Theater is a creative’s dream. How wonderful to have a home in Houston to not only see incredibly well produced (and hilarious) shows, but also to take improv classes where all are welcomed and supported/surrounded by top-notch talent. Oh and did I mention there’s a bar?! The bar scene is so fun on its own too and they have a great drink selection. Check out GFT. You and your (good) friends will love it. Oh and if you care about clean bathrooms-they are not only clean but also have pictures of all the improv team members dogs on the walls. A sweet touch. Highly recommend for all Houstonians near and far.

Burns & McDonnell (engineering and construction) rep here. Benji and the rest of the CSz Houston team held a team building workshop and private show for us and knocked it out of the park. My team is still talking about the amazing time they had and all the new inside jokes are going to stick around for a long time. They took care of the for, drinks, everything, and made it an unforgettable experience. Not to mention just what a cool and inviting space they have. Whether for a private show or just a regular weekly show for a night off or date night, I HIGHLY recommend!

My wife and I have been out to enjoy these always unique comedy improv skits several times with our family and friends, and most recently at a company sponsored special event. We have always had an amazing time. The staff and the venue are fantastic and the comedy skits and performers could not be more fun. If you're looking for a great time and a super convenient location with easy parking you won't find better value.

We drove down from Dallas to see a show here and it was a wonderful venue. The event was well organized which was very stress-reducing. We struck up some conversations with some of the people making the event happen and they were all very kind and helpful. Shout out to the sweet woman who somehow knew when I had questions and would pop up to answer them before I could even ask and the guy who had a fun BotC conversation with us.

We laughed and laughed some more. First time to attend The Good Friends Theater/ComedySportz and we will back. The group is AMAZING. A group of us took our young adults, each with a language and learning diagnosis, and they had amazing time. All three of the young adults felt comfortable enough to participate in the interactive sessions, even with it being their first time to the theater. Whatever these kids volunteered, the team included in their improv. They left the theater smiling and that says it all.
