Good gym. Nice staff that helped out and showed me everything. Good value for a day pass for $15 or $50 per month. Exactly what I was looking for. Gym has all the equipment needed, spacious inside and even has a space for boxing and mma workouts. Central location in Eado. Highly recommend
Great local gym! Love the atmosphere here. Have been coming here for years and the staff is very friendly. Music is always on point if you ever forget your headphones. Have made some friends and good place to network as well.
Got a day pass here to check it out before going for a full membership. GREAT gym, but I won't be joining. Pro's- Old school gym for people that are serious about working out and lifting. BeFit has any and all the equipment you'd ever need for a great workout and/or to bulk up. It's my kind of gym!! Con's- They play nothing but ghetto rap music at very high volume. Don't misunderstand me, I'm no chore boy and enjoy all different types of music, but the music BeFit plays is the hard core rap that isn't exactly mainstream. If that's the crowd they're trying to attract they will be successful. But your mainstream gym rats won't be so forgiving. Edit: I always appreciate an owner or manager replying to a review (good or bad). But I think in this case they completely missed the point of my original review. Let me try again. This gym is playing hard-core, x-rated, filthy ghetto rap at an ear splitting volume (hardly appealing to 99.5% of the population). But it's me (the patron) that has to monitor and request a change to the music? In short, its MY PROBLEM?. I travel for business and have frequented 100's of gyms all over the U.S. One thing that all have in common is playing mainstream music (pop, rock, light rap). It's not by accident. ANY business tries to appeal to a broad customer base.
Solid warehouse gym in Houston! Did a drop in during a trip to Houston. Drop in rate is $15, which is very reasonable to me especially when compared to most commercial gyms like Gold's. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The gym is broken into 4 sections - an air conditioned area for machines, cardio and cables, two separate free weight areas and an outdoor area with stones and an outdoor turf. The free weight areas encompass typical equipment such as bench presses, squat racks, smith machines, leg extensions, various platloaded equipment, deadlift platforms, a boxing area and so forth. The 2 weight areas are not air conditioned and the humidity and heat can be pretty intense. A lot of the equipment is rusted from the humidity but this is a legitimate and serious gym! Despite not being used to the heat and humidity, I really appreciated the vibe of this gym. I always enjoy a solid a warehouse gym where things don't have to be esthetically appeasing and people are just there to put in the work. It's a great place to be motivated and for those who are serious about making gains.
Be fit is a solid gym. Fair monthly pricing and plenty of equipment to go around, I’ve never gone and had to wait for a rack. The stand out thing here for me is the back room with all the punching bags, as an mma nut being able to step away from my sets and do a quick set is always fun. The people are cool and the staff are nice. Weights feel good and that’s all that matters.
