I had the chance to observe a couple of adaptive dancing classes at the Abilities Expo and I was genuinely impressed. Miss Marci was very personable and welcoming, creating an environment where everyone felt comfortable participating. She taught several seated line dances that were easy to follow, fun and engaging. She also incorporated props like fans (that pop!) and bells, which added an extra layer of excitement and made the experience even more interactive. What really stood out was the diversity of particpants. people with a wide range of physical challenges, inlcuding those in wheelchairs, all dancing together and enjoying the experience. The energy was contagious. Everyone was smiling, laughing and clearly having a great time. It was especially meaningful to see particpants return for multiple sessions, often bringing friends or family along. That says a lot about how impactful and enjoyable these classes are. Overall, it was a joyful, inclusive experience that truly showed how dance can bring people together regardless of ability. I would absolutely recommend Miss Marcie's adaptive dance classes to anyone looking for a fun and welcoming activity

Marcie is great with senior adults! She really knows how to create a dance experience that meets each participant where they are. The name says it all - Adaptive Dancing. And she is a joy to work with!
