We love Break Free! Beyond being extremely talented, they are also amazing with kids. They have been incredibly patient with my son, helping him navigate his shyness and his big emotions as he learns. They really understand how to help kids warm up at their own pace. Jeremy has especially gone above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable, welcome, and encouraged. We feel so fortunate to have found a place that combines top-tier skill with genuine kindness and patience. I can’t recommend them enough for both their professionalism and their heart!

Break Free Hip Hop School...Now this is the way to get the youths of the nation...This place does it right! The staff is top notch instructors and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They know what they're doing, folks. Amazing atmosphere! They have a Hip hop break dance school, a DJ school, an art class, and starting soon a multi media class for anyone wanting to learn how to produce, mix or be a YouTuber...like I said all the staff members are super nice and welcoming. I highly recommend Break Free Hip Hop School! You will not be disappointed!

We’ve been bringing a young man (9 year old) for a little over a month. I cannot write enough positives about Break Free, and those working there. We attended a ‘taster session’ with said young man. We weren’t really expecting much, just something to do to occupy a 9 year old finished with school for the summer holidays. We were immediately impressed by, pretty much, everything. We signed him up for the monthly ‘full unlimited’ membership. He could attend as many ‘beginner’ classes as he wanted. We’ve pretty much brought him every day. Breaking has been fantastic physical exercise for him. It’s almost an hour of moderate to intense cardiovascular and strength exercise daily. That’s not an easy thing to achieve with a 9 year old. He’s learning discipline, following instructions, teamwork, humility, an understanding of the fundamentals of a genuine art-form. He’s having a lot of fun in an environment that every attendee and instructor is enjoying. Everyone wants to be there. This is very easy to pick up on. It also serves as a community hub and hang out. A genuinely lovely and welcoming vibe. There are often opportunities to attend events and additional workshops. Parents and guardians are very much involved and informed. You will be as much a part of the operation of things as the attendee. If you want to be. I don’t mean actually doing the breakdancing….. Although if you do want to learn some basics, they are quite obliging. The instructors are professionals, they are genuinely elite. And there is a respect and love for breaking, and the broader culture and world of breakdancing that really rubs off. Child’s safety and wellbeing is paramount, and it’s very clear to see. They are good with children, they are genuinely caring and encouraging. It is also very, very, very good value compared to a lot of things ‘for kids’. There’s even a nice little ‘boxers gym’ area, (mostly free weights, bars and benches) parents and guardians etc. can use. Very much a ‘mi casa, su casa’ mentality. I absolutely love everything about this place and will recommend it wholeheartedly. Thank you Break Free!! You are appreciated.

My oldest just finished his first week of camp at Break Free and I could not be more impressed with this program. Jeremy was so helpful getting us registered and sending us all the info we needed. The space is pristine and well-equipped, and the instructors are incredible. My son can’t wait for the next week of camp and is already begging to attend weekly classes this fall. Thanks to Break Free for exposing kids to hip hop culture in such a positive and engaging environment!
