Went to Athens Greek tonight 8/12/26, the food was sooo good ... we started with Spanakopita (spinach n feta in phyllo dough), then had a Greek salad so fresh n good! Main course was beef tenderloin kabobs ... the meat was so tender juicy, with grilled onions n peppers, with Greek potatoes slices flavored from juices of the Kabob. Service was great as always, and momma Maria stopped and chatted with us which was of course enjoyable! We recommend you try it if you haven't ... you will enjoy it! Kim & Randy

It was an absolute pleasure to dine here. When you walk in, you literally feel like you stepped in to a private family kitchen. Generations of family photos outline the walls giving the atmosphere such a welcoming at-home feel. The service is exceptional. The staff is top notch and the owner makes sure of it. She literally works her hands to the bone to make sure each customer is happy. She was an angel on such a dark day for me. She provided so much comfort and warmth - truly an experience. The food was so flavorful, hand-crafted, and made with love. The whole experience touches your soul. This place deserves a Michelin star.

Probably the best Greek & Mediterranean food I’ve had in Houston! Our first time here and John was our server. We got the octopus appetizer and falafel for starters; octopus was tender and tasty, definitely recommend! I asked John to pick a dish that would fill us up. He suggested the lamb platter: a roasted lamb shank and grilled lamb chops with Greek potatoes which my girlfriend and I shared. Service was excellent, food was incredible, and we will definitely be back to try everything on the menu.

I found this place on the way home from getting some not so great news, but my spirits are lifted after eating here. The food was delicious, veggies tasted fresh, service was great and quick. I'm definitely coming back here and bringing others when we are craving delicious food. I had the tzatziki appetizer and the kokkinisto; both I highly recommend! I loved the garlic bread and chocolate baklava as well.

Loved the lamb shank that I got. The fatty pieces were so so tender and literally melted in my mouth, absolutely delightful. The meat sections that were more muscle dense were a tiny bit drier and less flavorful but as a whole, this was quite good! I also loved the desserts although I'm unsure what they were - though still delicious and they were given complimentary of the owner!
