My dining out club F.E.A.S.T. visited The Terrace Café last night. It was a wonderful experience. Don't let the location or outside of the building scare you off, the service and food were amazing! Everything we tried was delicious. My favorite was the Georgian Cheese Bread and Uzbek Plov dish. YUMMY! Although there was a bit of a language barrier (none of us speak any Russian) the waitress was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. It feels a bit like eating in a event hall, which is basically what it it, but the food was amazing. I would highly suggest trying them. You will not regret it!!! Our entire club was impressed and enjoyed everything.
My first visit to a Russian restaurant. The waitress was extremely friendly and helpful suggesting dishes. The food was amazing, and the presentation was great. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and dine here, you won't be disappointed.
We had a wonderful lunch at Café Terrace. The service was excellent. We enjoyed the atmosphere as well. The music was very nice. Would like to know how much the Sunday Buffet is?
Sunday brunch buffet is on point with a variety of Russian Salads and foods. The Marinated tomatoes were excellently prepared and had a nice tart flavor to them.Pickles were homemade crock pickles and had a nice snap with a mild flavor. Russian style piroshki meat pockets were excellent as well as the kebabs and cabbage rolls. Service was great and high energy. Food is served in a banquet hall setting. I felt a little out of place but overall the dining experience was great and I was happy with the quality of each offering on the buffet service.
I have never really tried Russian cuisine before so it was a fun experience trying different dishes. I was in town attending training for my company, and I ended up going here both nights trying different dishes both nights. All of the different dishes I tried were excellent, there were some dishes that used different spices than I am used to having so it was a fun experience. The service was also excellent, my waitress was extremely nice and attentive. I am trying to learn Russian so it was nice being able to talk to a native speaker. If I had one complaint it would be the location, it's just a bit out of the way and hard to find. But that is just a very minor thing. I will definitely be returning next time I am in the area.
