I ordered from this restaurant thinking I was ordering from the the location on 45N. Boy was I wrong. You would think a chain would be consistent from every location but sadly this is not the case. I order lunch for my staff on Saturday and I have always been impressed with the flavor and the appearance of the food has always been fresh. They generally provide the Tins with Mash Potatoes and Gravy. A tin of Beans and a tin of rice. The fish comes in its own tin. The chicken comes in its own tin and the shrimp come in its own container. But I got red bean and rice in the pint size and it had no flavor at all. The gravy on the mashed potatoes tasted like it was spoiled. The shrimp was over salted. The chicken was soggy not chrispy. My staff was disappointed as was I. Never again...

I live downtown and walk past this place many times. The outsides crowd is rough but I gave it a chance. It was spot clean inside ! I was impressed, I noticed the kitchen was super clean too so I called my partner and asked if he prefer we not cook vs going to Randall’s. The gentleman was very nice, recommends 8 piece /2 large sides for $25. Not a bad price for fried chicken these days. Came home and it was perfectly seasoned and fresh, the potatoes were great. I will be going back! Thank you Louisiana fried Midtown, we are enjoying our dinner!! 🍽️

The location near the Metro building.... This was the nastiest chicken I ever ate, for it to be called "Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken" It was not seasoned at all, they give you very little fries they give you can sodas bcuz the fountain drinks were empty. They had slushies that they were selling that was superrrrr sweet my daughter couldn't even drink it. I almost spent 60$ then the sauces that they give you for the chicken fingers were in packets. then u had to pay .50 cent for additional sauces which I understand but if you're getting a 4-piece chicken finger you should at least give 2 sauces without having to have the cust pay. We were highly disappointed. And the place had a lot of homeless ppl around it.

Hello, you all have delicious chicken. The shrimp are ok (very salty but low seasoning). But the real problem is the fish. The fried fillets were now noticeably thin. So thin there is more batter than fish. I ate a whole bunch of batter and a little fish. Are you sure the thin fillets are the right move??? I don’t think so.

The food was very tasty. I have had their gumbo multiple times and tried their chicken, which was delicious. The other patrons eating there were quite loud. The location is also tough to access since the drive in is only from one street and it is surrounded by one-ways. Other than that, really good food for a reasonable price.
