Employees create a great experience. The quality of the food is batting 1000. Order ahead using the app and enjoy the very clean dining room with little to no wait. This place is the defacto Whataburger experience
The one customer service needs improvement. It seems like the cashier was like she didn't want to be there and when I ordered my crispy chicken sandwich she would tell me its 10 minutes wait I was find with that and when I also wanted the 5 piece chicken bites it was another 10 minutes. I worked for whataburger before to get me through nursing school and I know it doesn't take 10 minutes so I was getting the feeling that she wanted me to get something easy or change my mind and go somewhere else that is what I was getting from that!
I’ve lived near this whataburger my whole life, and have never placed a review. Here’s my opinion: - Food quality + service is best during noon. (10am -2pm). - If you come here after midnight, don’t expect good food quality or service. It also gets VERY crowded. You may be sitting in line for 30+ minutes. Employees are stretched thin and I can taste it in my meal. - The chicken tenders are very firm and bready 80% of the time. 3/10. The 20% of the time they’re not, it’s moist, soft, and has the best texture. 7.5/10. -I’ve never tried the burgers but my family enjoys them. Quality of such depends on the time of the day. - The fries are okay. They’re regular shoe string fries. Best consumed within 20 minutes of receiving the food because they turn into cardboard taste wise after that. - Don’t come here if you see cars wrapped around the drive thru lane because you’ll regret it. Unless you’re really committed, expect to be there for up to an hour. There’s also a really nice old lady with short hair and glasses that’s the manager. She’s very sweet and I wish she got a raise! She tries her best to please every customer even when being stretched thin. She’s been there for years. Whataburger, hear me out!
Came here at 3am on 6/16/2025 and order a sweet and spicy and 2 honey butter biscuits. The tenders on the biscuit smelly like old grease and was dark. The burger was sloppy and wet all over. I called and the manager was really nasty the half way thru the call her just put the phone done and never came back. I could hear him having a conversation with someone. I hung up and called 8 times with no one answering the phone. There was no one in the line really and we couldn't get an explanation why we got old sloppy food. And the night manager should not have this job. He is really nasty and any manager that hangs up on a customer and then instructs for the phones not to be answered. He canceled my phone call over 9 times. A manager doesn't do that!!!
I had a very disappointing experience at the Whataburger location. The customer service was unacceptable from start to finish. We were left waiting over 10 minutes for our food, and when we asked about the delay, an employee named Jason was dismissive and unhelpful instead of providing an update or apology. The situation only got worse when we went back through the drive-thru for clarification—we were ignored, and staff appeared to laugh at us, which felt extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Overall, the way we were treated made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. No customer should be ignored or mocked when simply trying to get the service they paid for. I hope management takes this seriously, looks into the behavior of the staff on duty, and makes improvements to ensure others aren’t treated this way.
