This is enough. And I think the 4/5 is exactly right—you had a great experience, but you’re not pretending one Restaurant Weeks/bar visit gave you enough information to declare the entire restaurant flawless. Here’s the Google review I’d post: ★★★★☆ I visited Bludorn during Houston Restaurant Weeks and opted for a seat at the bar, which ended up being perfect for a solo dinner. I started with a Yuzu Sour—easily my favorite sip of the evening—and the seafood campechana, followed by the salmon for my entrée and dessert. I also tried one of each of the chargrilled oysters from the happy hour menu, and they were fantastic. Between those and the Yuzu Sour, I could easily come back just for happy hour. The service at the bar was impeccable. Three different team members took great care of me throughout the evening without it ever feeling like too much. Conversation was light and easy, and I even got to sample a Tomatini, which was a fun surprise. If you’re dining solo, the bar is a great option. I can’t speak to the atmosphere in the main dining room since I stayed at the bar, but I really enjoyed the experience and everything I ordered. Pro tip: there is parking behind the restaurant, so if you arrive early enough, you may be able to skip valet. A strong 4/5 for this visit, and I’d absolutely return to explore more of the regular menu. 🤍

Attentive service, good food and great atmosphere. Can’t think of what not to like about this place. We were there on Friday night, full house, so, noise level could be a little bit high but still manageable and enjoyable. Paulina was our server trainee. Her charming will go far.

This place was great. We skipped appetizers and shared 3 entrees. The crab rice is sooo good. The truffle spaghetti also very good. The mojitos were very tasty, and the espresso martini was pretty decent. The service was great from the moment we stepped in - to the moment we left. I loved the atmosphere, it was lively but not overly loud. Our bill was only $200 for 3 entrees and 4 drinks. Very fair price for this caliber of food and service. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful experience on Mother’s Day. Everything was delicious and the service was perfect. Spirit-forward drinks were very good. The oysters (tried all 4 varieties) and biscuits (buttery flaky and moist) were absolutely perfect. I forgot to take pics of the main course because I was just too into it. lol. Desserts were impeccable but we ate them too fast for pics. Highly recommend and will come back for more. Love the details in the experience. Imprints on the napkins. Brass tag to pick up leftovers.

Food and staff were amazing! The roasted oysters, cheddar scallion biscuits, blue berry pancakes & smoked short rib ravioli are a must have!!!! Our first time and we’ll definitely be back. My wife is pregnant and she can’t have unpasteurized blue cheese. Not sure if they have unpasteurized or pasteurized blue cheese. But the waiter went ahead and separated it from her meal without us even asking! How thoughtful! We were extremely grateful just of the thought behind the action. Thank you guys so much for the great experience and food. We’ll see you again!
