The service was overall good and drinks were delicious. My lobster was cold however, and a few minor adjustments were needed that the server was advised about, but no solution was made. Overall this place is pricey. Although it’s very cute inside, the price doesn’t match the food quality/taste.
Came in with some work friends on the recommendation of a friend, and was not disappointed. Cool retro movie theater vibes when you walk in, then they take you to the dining room with a perfect blend of open, yet private. We tried a little bit of everything, and it was all delicious. Edwin toured us through the drinks and menu items that they should be famous for, if they are not already. Recommend a reservation, but this place is definitely worth a little wait. You have to try it out when you are in the Houston area.
My experience started off in the wrong direction. The first valet guy said $10, so I parked in front then I was confronted by another guy to pay $20. I let him move my car to the $10 spots. When I went to get my sweater out the car, I asked why would you pass 20 other spots to park me at the very end. However, the drinks were delicious, food was hot and plentiful just pricey. Every side was $18, so I suggest sharing your sides. The restaurant is highly decorated for beautiful pictures. Naomi/David (I believe) was our servers and they were pleasant and helpful. Since we reserved a room with personal menus, they charged $80 admin fee without notice. Overall, I will go back for happy hour with friends.
My friend had a reservation for her birthday. Service: First off our server Paul was truly a treat! He was really nice, explained the menu and theme/cover of the restaurant and made sure my friend’s birthday dinner went well. Definitely ask for Paul for your visit. The hostess at the entrance greeted me with a smile and was nice. Food: The food was good, family style sides and your main dish is huge. I got the Chicken Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatoes & Broccolini Atmosphere: I love the premise of the restaurant, Paul was great & the food was good. However, I more than likely wouldn’t go back unless I was invited for a dinner or special event. Valet parking is very unnecessary in addition to the prices on the menu. The tables are way too close to each other and there is no room to walk or push your chair back to get up and use the restroom. I think the owners may need to move to a bigger space. Floral Wall: The floral wall is pretty but an interesting area. The floral wall is in the restroom space and can get really crowded between ladies, couples & big groups trying to take pictures. So coming out of the restroom trying to wash your hands you’re having to ask people/groups to scoot over so you can wash your hands. I went in December for my friend’s birthday so there was nice Christmas decor which was a nice touch. There was a big bridal party hogging the wall and one of the restaurants hostess had to come and ask them to return to their table or leave if they’ve completed their dinner just to clear the space. Lastly they had a new mixed drink shot that they were offering to try. It was cool, nothing special but i like that they offer their patrons to try a new/future menu item.
Birthday dinners always come with that one thing… worrying about the bill and how it’s going to be split 😅 But our waiter absolutely KILLED it. He kept track of what everyone ordered and split everything perfectly—something most restaurants don’t even try to do. Usually it’s one person stuck with the bill and the rest of us doing math at the table 😭 so I truly appreciated him. Total rockstar! Now let’s talk about the food… 10/10 👏 I got the chicken with a sweet potato on the side, and it was HUGE. Honestly could’ve shared it with a friend. The vibe? Immaculate. The restaurant is super aesthetic—you have to take a picture in front of the flower wall. It’s definitely a hotspot… people were lined up waiting for their turn, even with professional cameras 📸 Overall, highly recommend! I will definitely be coming back 😁😁
