Le Jardinier’s 2025 Michelin star is incredibly well deserved. We chose to celebrate our anniversary here, and the entire evening was exceptional from beginning to end. Our table overlooked the sculpture garden, and watching the rain fall while enjoying a glass of rosé bubbles made for a beautiful start to the evening. We began with the steak tartare and the cold fennel velouté, followed by the risotto and the branzino. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and a pleasure to eat. We also enjoyed a bottle of Sancerre, which paired perfectly with the meal. To top it all off, the staff surprised us with a thoughtful anniversary treat at the end of dinner—a small gesture that made the evening feel even more special. The service was impeccable throughout. From the warm welcome at the door to the team carefully delivering and explaining each course, everyone was genuinely kind, attentive, and professional. A flawless dining experience in every way. 10 out of 10—highly recommend for a special occasion or anyone looking to experience one of Houston’s very best restaurants.

We celebrated our anniversary at Le Jardinier and had a wonderful evening. Our server Ruben was excellent. He explained everything on the menu and was very attentive the whole time. The food was delicious and looked beautiful on the plate. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. I really enjoyed sitting in the lounge. It was nice to watch the reflection of the trees in the mirror. The glass artwork was also pretty. The dessert was a pleasant surprise — it was delicious! We had a special night and would recommend this restaurant for a celebration.

La Jardinier brought me back to Paris. It was perfect in every way - the service, the atmosphere, and of course the food. Everyone working seemed to be in constant communication and it really highlighted to restaurants noteworthy reputation. The food was far from simple but also brought me back to simpler times as a kid eating home cooked meals. They left a high standard in Houston for the Michelin Star.

We had our 4th year wedding anniversary and since we were in Houston for business anyways we thought we give it a try! .We had the 5 course Menu and it was 10/10 from start to finish. Service was outstanding. The food was great. Every plate was balanced and so tasty. Favorites were the pea custard and the lambchops. We did not wait for anything without feeling rushed at any point. Thank you for this wonderful experience and we will surely be back when in Town. Blessings

This is our first Michelin star restaurant. Very impressed! The setting is intimate, the decor simple elegance with a mid century modern gestalt. On our next visit I’ll pick a day when outdoor temperatures will allow us to explore that space. The staff were professional and engaging, appearing immediately when wanted, and allowing us to enjoy our time when wanted. The food was obviously beautiful, as well as tasty. I particularly appreciated the plating compositions which allowed a thorough exploration of flavors by keeping most elements separated. Especially the fresh greens selected. Due to the quality, a single leaf explodes with flavor complementing the other ingredients while allowing its contribution to be fully appreciated. It was a special occasion for us, and they created a treat to celebrate together. We would definitely recommend for anyone serious about understanding food and discovering new clarity about how each aspect of experience contributes to excellent dining.
