Stopped by this LA Fitness around 8 PM and it was spacious and not over-crowded. It’s a big facility with a nice pool, racketball courts, and even a juice bar for post-workout shakes. They also have a cool recovery area with cryotherapy and a MedSpa. Getting in and out is a breeze with plenty of parking, and since there's a Sprouts right next door, it’s super convenient to grab groceries or a healthy snack after your workout session!
5 stars. I want to recognize Fred at LA Fitness for his outstanding work ethic and professionalism. He is always active, always on top of things, and takes real pride in maintaining the gym and amenities in excellent condition. It’s rare to see someone so consistent, dedicated, and detail-oriented nowadays. Fred works with a level of discipline and professionalism that truly stands out. His effort does not go unnoticed and makes a real difference in the experience for all members. LA Fitness is lucky to have him.
SWIMMERS- If you are looking for a regular place to swim LOOK ELSEWHERE. Corporate contracts out pool access to swim lessons for 18 hours every week. As someone with a 9-5, it makes it nearly impossible to swim without a long wait for a lane. Because of the rental, other swimmers cram their workouts out at the same time. You can and should expect to wait 20-30 min for a lane, even during off hours. This facility does not prioritize their paying members over their corporate greed. I just want to swim. Once my year is up I’ll be switching to dad’s club or the Y. This is ridiculous. When I started my membership this was not the reality.
I gotta say a huge thank you to Ricky Rolo. He blessed me with a good amount of time to try out the gym and I’m already impressed/convinced this is the gym for me. No pressure, no tricks, just great vibes. Thanks again bro bro, and thanks LA Fitness for keeping good people. Oh and they got a sauna and juice bar, icing on the cake!
LA Fitness on Yale has been great. I had a week guest pass and went around end of the work day each time and enjoyed the gym etiquette and equipment. Music is not too loud and people have been nice. Ricky helped me sign up and navigate the membership that is best for me. He was of much help and even looked into my benefits to help me find deals! I am enjoying the start of my membership so far and plan to take advantage of all the great classes and activities they have.
