Well, this place used to be a favorite to go to during lunch. The food is still good, especially the Chicharron tacos, but over the last 6 months they raised their prices for a taco from $3 to $4 each! They don’t list the prices anywhere so you don’t find out until you’ve ordered and have to pay. They also charge a 2.5% fee for paying with a card. If you pay cash, make sure they don’t charge that extra 2.5% because they will likely “accidentally “ add it. And for a food truck, they are very slow. It took almost 30 minutes to get my 3 tacos!! I guess if you have the time and don’t mind paying $4 a taco, at least you get some good tacos!!
Wonderful flavor, kind service, fast fresh authentic food!
I drive 30 minutes from Katy just to get to the best taco truck in Houston, El Taco Rico Aracely (Food Truck). I’ve tried plenty of taco trucks in the area, but I’d bet money that nothing compares to this one. The seasonings are always on point, and the flavors hit every time! On top of that, the customer service is amazing—they treat you right every visit. I love this taco truck and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful tacos.
The food is flavorful but wasn't fresh. Look at the avocado. The portion of food was good but the egg was too dry for my taste. The customer service was not terrible but need a lot of improvement. Also, be careful with their parking lot. It's full of craters and uneven payment. It was okay but I won't be back. Prices were decent.
This food is binge worthy!!! I had the chicken tacos and steak tacos both with onion and cilantro on corn tortillas! The tortillas were amazing by themselves, but filled with the chicken and steak... they were absolutely perfect! Both meats had great flavors and I'd highly recommend trying them both if you have the chance. The pupusas were fresh and delicious. They needed nothing extra!! Definitely give this place a try, you will be blown away!
