I had an amazing experience at SLT Hair Salon! I booked a 9 AM appointment and was seen immediately, no wait at all, which I really appreciate as a busy mom. My stylist, Sabrina, provided a silk press, cut, and scalp treatment, and she was incredible from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, I was given a fresh robe and felt completely taken care of. Sabrina was so relatable and easy to talk to especially as someone who doesn’t get out much and learning that we both moved to Houston without knowing many people made the experience feel even more comfortable and personal. The salon itself is beyond clean with beautiful LED mirror stations and a modern, welcoming aesthetic. You can tell they take pride in their space. I paid $250 for my silk press, and it was worth every dime. I’ve been natural since I was 12 (I’m now 28), and I have never seen my hair look this smooth, shiny, and healthy. The owner, Kenya, even came over to compliment my hair, which was such a sweet and memorable touch. I highly recommend this salon to anyone in Houston, especially my natural hair girlies. I will absolutely be back and can confidently say I’ve found my forever salon.

Best experience I have ever had! The salon is beautiful and clean! Kenya is amazing! She makes sure you feel comfortable while getting your hair done! She is very quick and efficient. I will be coming back soon.

I’ve been going to Kenya for three years, and I honestly refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. When I first moved to Houston, finding someone who was professional, punctual, and truly cared about hair health felt impossible. Kenya checks every box. She listens to what you want, gives honest guidance on what your hair actually needs, and then somehow manages to exceed expectations every single visit. I’m a sew-in girl, and she handles both natural hair and extensions flawlessly, always keeping my hair healthy underneath while making sure the finished look is amazing every single time. She never overbooks, respects your time, and will have you in the chair and out without ever feeling rushed. Her energy is warm, her space is welcoming, and her work is genuinely top-tier. If you’re looking for a stylist you can trust long-term, Kenya is the one. Truly the best in Houston.

Bonnie was Amazing! I was a walk in and desperately needed a cut on my natural hair. It was unmanageable on my own anymore and i knew i needed a professional. HA! We did a silk press and the results were great. I left feeling so much better about my hair. Will definitely be back! Thank you Bonnie

I was in search of a new hair stylist and Kenya popped up on my feed. That was two over two years ago and SLT has been my #1 salon for my hair maintenance. Very professional, and such a luxury experience. What I love and respect the most when it comes to SLT, you won’t be at the salon all day like most salons. You have your appointment and you’re in and out in a reasonable time for any service. We are not a fan of sitting long hours at SLT lol. Highly recommend for your next luxury hair experience. Oh and by the way, SLT provides bundles so you don’t have to run around town trying to find hair.
