Absolutely out of this world! 🌯🔥 We tried the beef, chicken, and lamb shawarma, and every single one was incredible! The meat was flavorful, tender, and seasoned to perfection. You can really taste the authentic Mediterranean flavors in every bite. It’s not often that all three options impress you equally, but this place absolutely delivered. If you love shawarma, you HAVE to try this place! 🤤 Already looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu! ❤️
Best, most delicious place to grab halal food. You can choose chicken or beef, with carbo options from bread (as a sandwich, rice, or pita bread (as a shawarma). The rice bowl and salad bowl have fresh and good amount of salad, onions, olives, as well as jalapeño pickles. Prices are decent and quick service, too (5 minutes and you're ready to go). It opens everyday, even past midnight. There are a couple of tables with few chairs available in front of the shop, but most people takeout. If you're looking for ready-to-eat halal food in downtown Houston, here's the place.
I ordered online, and it was delivered hot and tasted delicious. Everything tasted like authentic Lebanese food. I enjoyed it very much. I had a lamb and a chicken swarma with dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) and hummus with baklava. The portion sizes could have been a bit bigger, but all tasted wonderful, and I would order from here again.
I got the beef salad and it was over priced ( 17$ with tax). Worse part is, the meat was so fatty. Anything I bite into had fat in it. And it’s was making me nauseous ! Don’t recommend the food here.
Tried Abu Omar Halal in Houston for the first time, and the shawarma was really good! The flavors were fresh, well-seasoned, and definitely worth trying. A great spot if you’re looking for tasty shawarma. Will be coming back for sure!
