Noticed this nice lil halal shop in a gas station when I was looking for lunch. Stopped by and ordered their burrito and beef samosa. The staff was friendly and general was to talk to. I have to say burrito is pretty mediocre . The rice was pretty cool and beef was chewy and lacked character. The cheese appeared to not be very well melted. I ate maybe 15 percent of the burrito and had to put it down. The samosas were slightly better. Just a lil sloppy. They are new so they might improve. The looked like they might have a nice burger I might try them at another time.
This order was possible thanks to Too Good To Go 😀. I figured I should let my readers know that before reading my thoughts 💭. It was a surprise meal so I have no idea but my surprise meal came with: potatoes, refried beans, a main course with: yellow rice, a healthy amount of steak, chicken, onions and tomatoes plus mixed vegetables. The steak and chicken were nice and tender, the veggies blended nicely with the yellow rice and even the onions and tomatoes enhanced the flavor (two things I don't like very much but didn't sour my experience). Because this was through Too Good To Go, my order was 10 dollars. But nevertheless I would still recommend you give this place a try 😉
Had the good fortune of stopping here for gas, and was so overwhelmed by the smell of the food that I had to stop and check it out. Everything looked hot and fresh, and i was greeted by the owner, who took my order with genuine enthusiasm and spoke with warmth that for a moment made you forget you were in a gas station. The food came out astonishingly fast, super hot, and well seasoned and delicious. Would recommend highly, if you're near here at all and want a really good taco you dont feel like you've spent too much on, check this place out.
Probably some of the best burgers in Houston! Get some sweet potato fries to go with it, absolutely amazing. (Inside of the shell station if you've never been)
I love stopping in here for lunch. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and it’s all amazing. The staff is very friendly. They have a sweet habanero chicken sandwich that is soooo delicious.
