It has been three days since we dined in Shawarma land, and my mind still resides there. Every dish we tasted took us to a different world. We have been served the yummiest taste you could ever possibly have. Literally, my kids and I , when we tried the “All Platter” we were closing our eyes and humming hmmmmm 😋, the shish tawook, the kebab, the tekka, the thin bread, the garlic sauce, the fresh salad, the crispy fries, each one has a unique yummy taste to it. The kebbah was super yummy too, I would just recommend for the chef to fry it on a hot oil so it does not absorb the oil. I just wished I ordered the beef shawarma, but we were full. I am glad I chose it in my last second before leaving Houston. Although it is an 8 hours drive, I believe I am coming back just to eat here again. The very kind, professional, yet generous chef name “ Hassrat Abu Ghaya” whom I had the pleasure talking to and being served a food by, gave us free dessert, and told me when he have a left-over food, he would distribute it to the homeless and poor. May God bless you Hassart, the person was working with you, and the owner. May God fill your hearts with happiness, bank account with blessed money, and bodies with health. I love Food and only the most delicious one, so thank you for making this experience enjoyable and full of unforgettable flavor😍🔥🙏🏻.
I came here for the first time a few days ago and since have been back two more times. This is definitely my go to place if I'm ever in the mood for lamb, it is by FAR the best I've ever had from a restaurant without having to spend upwards of 70+ per plate. Both with a lamb shank (they don't normally sell this from my understanding) and lamb wraps. The hummus is also as fresh as it gets, absolutely amazing flavor. I got lucky today, I happened to walk into what seemed like the first daily Ramadan celebration buffet and it was incredible for $20. So nice that I didn't want to eat much because I was only spending $20 on it. The presentation, the flavor, and the combinations of everything were amazing, even the potatoes. Imagine dimassis, less options, but the options present that you actually go there for, and focused, quality focused, fresh, and far better with every comparison between the two, all while spending less at the low cost of $20. If I'm at my office at all around 6pm, I'm heading there for the next month, every time, to be there when the buffet opens. I want to see this place thrive, they deserve it. Give them a shot.
Honestly, I’ve been living in Dearborn, Michigan for the past 8 years, and I’ve tried almost every Middle Eastern shawarma restaurant around. But when it comes to ((SHAWARMA LAND)) , this place is truly outstanding — easily one of the best of the best. Everything was perfect: the service, the generosity, the cleanliness, and the quality of the food. You can genuinely feel the soul and passion they put into every dish. The portions are huge, the prices are very affordable, and the whole experience feels authentic and welcoming. Big thanks to Hasrat as well — he’s honestly one of the main reasons I love eating here. Highly recommended!
I went today at around 6pm and ordered a chicken arabi. Everyone was so nice especially the cook. He went above and beyond and prepared me a delicious meal and even included some Baklava and free drink! No other place treats me this well thats why I always come there, and they also serve a good portion of food!! I dont go to any other place when I wanna pick up food or dine in for middle eastern food. Thanks to the team, keep up the good work and I will bring my friends here!! Better than the food trucks down the road. 10/10
Dining at Shawarma Land during Ramadan was truly a special experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth and hospitality of the owners and staff — welcoming smiles, genuine kindness, and excellent service made the evening even more memorable. The open buffet iftar was outstanding. Every dish tasted fresh, authentic, and prepared with care. The soup was comforting, the okra perfectly cooked, the lamb tender and flavorful, and the rice and hummus absolutely delicious. Honestly, it’s hard to fully describe how good the food was — you simply have to try it for yourself. The restaurant may be small, but it has a cozy, inviting atmosphere with soft music and a very clean, well-kept space. It feels warm and personal, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality shawarma and a wonderful Ramadan iftar experience, Shawarma Land is definitely the place to go. You won’t regret it — I promise. Thank you for the amazing food and heartfelt hospitality!
