I’ve been ordering the same bowl 1 or more times per week for the last several years. Food is great, but the portions have continued to shrink, all the way to about HALF of what they used to be (picture from today).

I frequently visit Leaf & Grain since I work downtown, but my experience at the Dallas Street (One Allen Center) location was highly disappointing. The portion sizes were noticeably small, and the customer service really fell short. This is a major contrast to the San Felipe location, which is my usual go-to spot where the service and portions are always excellent. Since heading to San Felipe isn't possible during my quick office lunch break, the skimpy portions and bad service here mean I will be looking for other lunch options in the downtown area instead.

I just picked up my food after walking all the way there at Allen Center to get it. They left off the shaved parmesan (double order), Avocado, and the bread. I can't walk all the way back over there due to time constraints, so this is unacceptable for such a quality place and expensive.

I highly recommend Leaf and Grain! They are locally-owned and always pay super good attention to detail, especially regarding service standards and high quality ingredients. The Alamo is delicious and so are the Cayenne Brownies! Definitely my favorite salad spot!

super helpful + friendly staff I believe his name was Fabian - I quickly saw his photo on the wall of recognition. first time trying leaf + grain - it did not disappoint. I would definitely return. ordered the Alamo without red onions + asked for cilantro jalapeño dressing.
