Immediate action and resolution. I wanted to share my personal experience with RealManage. In particular, Melissa Bessey. I was having issues with my access card for the community amenities not working. I had contacted the previous community management company to get the issue resolved and it was not fixed due to the change in management companies taking place. The very same day I contacted Melissa Bessey, she got the issue resolved within a few hours. She even sent a follow up email to update me on my access card being fixed. She was kind, professional and followed up exactly like she said she would. This was a very great experience.
Thieves. This company managed my neighborhood. When I moved out they charged me a $195 delinquent fee on the hoa resale package, even though the account was paid up. I was forced to pay it because, due to their poor communication and slow responses, by the time this was all figured out there was no time to reorder (or we risked losing the sale). I assumed we could get this straighened out after the fact. Seemed simple to me- look at the account, see it was paid up before the resale package was paid- refund the delinqeunet fee because I was in fact not delinquent. But no, they've utterly refused to do the right thing and refund a measley $195. Communication around this entire issue has been a nightmare, like pulling teeth. I really had to dig to get literally anyone to talk to me about it at all to even get here. As someone who used to run a business that handled clients that dealt with late fees I can't imagine treating a customer this way. Someone pays double fees because of a technicality- I'd refund (and did) without the blink of an eye. But apperently it's IMPOSSIBLE. Okay. Well then all I can do is leave this review to warn others.
Just wanted to give a shout out for the excellent response that I got in getting my new car added for gate access. I was working with Berna Mediano at RealManage and she was very professional and responsive to my need to have access to our neighborhood. A vast improvement over previous changes/adds to our account and I am very appreciative of her attention to getting my access in less than one day. Very nice work Berna - very thankful to have you on the RM team.
My son turns two this month and I was excited to celebrate his birthday with my friends and family. I asked my mom (resident of Emberly) if we could use the Haven since we currently only live in a tiny apartment ourselves. My mom asked Kristen Oaks (works at the Haven) if we could reserve it. She said they were not currently reserving it but it was first come first serve. She said we could have decorations and balloons. We were so excited. The day of the party we came in said hi to Kristen. Made sure to ask her what was okay and what wasn't. She assured us we could have decorations up as long as everything was cleaned up afterward. Which we agreed. Everything was going great. The party was at 2 pm and we finally finished the decorations at 1:16 pm. Balloons, pictures, signs. It was a lot of work but it was perfect and so cute. This is when Kristen Oaks said her manager Crystal Romero changed her mind and that we could no longer have balloons, decorations or anything inside the Haven. Kristen made us move everything outside. We tried to reason with her that people would start showing up soon and we still had to leave to get the food from my mom's house but she would not listen. She moved everything outside in the cold. Our balloons flew away and the wind tore up everything. I was hoping to buy a home here in the near future but after this experience it's safe to say I'm not so sure. If Emberly is willing to let people like Crystal Romero kick residents out of an amenity that THEY PAY FOR, then it is not a community I want to live in or be apart of.
I live at the capital lofts condos in Houston. I’m a renter so I don’t get to go to the meetings with management like the owners do. That has always been kind of frustrating since I live here too. I have to give credit to the new management though. The parking garage elevator was broken for so long I couldn’t even remember the last time it worked, but it looks like Brandon got that fixed. The nightclub in the building used to play music so loud it would shake the building. I don’t know what he did or if he is the person responsible, but it’s been way quieter. It’s still too noisy but not as bad. The garage flooding was probably the biggest problem. It used to have ankle deep water all the time even if it had not rained. I finally met Brandon last week while he was working in the building and asked him how they fixed it. He said it was just preventative maintenance. Whatever they did, it seems to be working. I also appreciated that he didn’t treat me any different just because I rent instead of own. We talked for a few minutes in the lobby and he is a very nice guy and very friendly. I’m just happy it finally feels like someone is getting things done around here. Thank you
