Ross and his team designed and built our home in 2020. For most people your home is not only the biggest financial investment but also a personal one. Two things you want through that process is honesty and reliability and that is what you get with Ashwood. Ross has good relationships with suppliers and is an honest guide through the process. Our home is now almost 6 years old and looks like it was just built. Our friends also remark on the craftsmanship and quality of our home. Ross is still there if we need anything and if we ever need to work on a new project we wouldn’t look anywhere else.

We used Ashwood Designs for a whole house remodel and addition in Bellaire and are so happy we chose them. We met with several Houston contractors before deciding, but our gut kept telling us Ross was the right fit for us and we were right. Remodeling is definitely stressful at times, but Ross was always easy to talk to, honest, and communicative throughout the process. Anytime we had questions or concerns, he took the time to explain things and make us feel comfortable. We absolutely love how our home turned out and would definitely use Ashwood Designs & Custom Homes again.

We had an incredible experience working with Ashwood Designs & Custom Homes on our whole home remodel and addition. From start to finish, the project felt thoughtful, organized, and very well managed. We finished very close to our original timeline, with only a couple of weeks of delays due to permits and weather, and throughout that time the communication was consistent, clear, and reassuring. The entire team of trades was professional, respectful, and genuinely pleasant to have around our home. While there were moments I would have loved a bit more day-to-day cleaning (my inner neat freak talking!), I also understand that construction comes with a level of disruption—and overall, the team maintained a space that felt safe and manageable. Going into a project like this, I fully expected chaos and stress, but that honestly wasn’t our experience. Ross’ communication made all the difference. He consistently kept us informed, walked us through decisions, and always had thoughtful solutions when challenges came up—as they inevitably do in any large project. Because of that, I felt calm and confident throughout the process, which is something I never expected to say about a full home remodel with an addition. Most importantly, the final result exceeded anything we could have imagined. Our home is not only beautiful but truly feels like us, and the transformation has been incredible. While I may not be eager to take on another major renovation anytime soon, I would absolutely choose to work with Ross and his team again without hesitation. We are so grateful for the hard work, care, and craftsmanship that went into creating our home. We had an amazing experience working with Ross and his team. One of the things that truly set Ross apart was his digital design process—I was able to clearly see the vision and layout before any work even began, which made a huge difference in feeling confident moving forward. Our home turned out absolutely beautiful, and the kitchen is hands-down my favorite room in the house. Everyone who visits comments on it! The custom work, thoughtful design, and incredible storage solutions are both stunning and functional. It’s clear how much care and expertise went into every detail. I will say the beginning was tough, but that was largely because I didn’t speak up enough about my ideas at first. Once Ross and I sat down, talked everything through, and found our rhythm, the project really took off. That open communication and collaborative approach is what made our whole-home remodel such a success. I can’t thank Ross and his team enough for all they did—and continue to do. I’m so grateful for their professionalism, creativity, and dedication. Highly recommend and would definitely use again.

We were impacted by Harvey and had to find someone to put our beloved home back together. We had used Ashwood Designs & Custom Homes in the past and reached back out to them after we flooded. Seeing our home destroyed was extremely tough for our family. Remodels are never easy to live through, but Ross and his crews were amazing and made the experience more pleasant than we had anticipated. They worked hard on getting us back in the house as soon as possible. There were some delays due to unforeseen circumstances but Ashwood Designs pushed to get us back on track and in on time. I loved our home that the flood took away from us but am so happy with the new look and feel of our remodeled home. Ross suggested barn doors to separate the living areas and it is single handedly my most favorite part of our home. Their attention to detail and dedication to giving us a high quality finished project is why we will continue to use and recommend Ashwood Designs.
