My experience with Colina Homes was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had. Before signing our contract in May, we were told our home would include a tankless water heater and three-sided brick. After we had already signed the contract, we were informed that those features were no longer included and that we would have to pay extra for them. It felt like the terms changed after we had already committed. I also discovered that my credit was pulled without my authorization. When I questioned it, I was told I had authorized the inquiry over the phone. I repeatedly requested proof of that authorization, but none has been provided. Throughout the process, it seemed like there was always an excuse or someone else to blame. Instead of taking ownership of issues and working toward a solution, I felt like responsibility was constantly shifted to someone else. My interactions with Ken were particularly disappointing. I found him to be dismissive, unprofessional, and unwilling to address my concerns in a respectful or constructive way. As a customer making one of the biggest financial decisions of my life, I expected better communication and accountability. Buyers should carefully review every document, get every promise in writing, and ask questions before signing anything. I also recommend monitoring your credit closely throughout the process and keeping records of all communications. STAY AWAY!!!!! This review reflects my personal experience with Colina Homes.

As a first time home buyer I couldn’t had asked for a better salesperson like Shelly woods, she was very patient and nice person. She answered all my questions regarding about the house. She helped me through a lot on the process of getting the house, also Shawn, the builder helped a lot on repairing a couple things that the house needed to be repaired. Shawn had it all repaired and cleaned by our second house tour. I really recommend these two amazing people. 😊😊

Just closed on my new home with Colina Homes, the experiance was smoother than I thought it would be. I work out of state and throught the whole build process I was a bit nervous not being able to stop by and get a look through the construction phases. But Shawn and Shannon, the builder and sale rep, both kept sending constant updates. With me and my wife being out of state Shannon took the time to face time my wife and help her chose and pick the colors, tiles, countertops, and the bricks. Very easy to work with. Shawn was very thorough in explaining what steps he was on and what the time frame was like for each step. During our final walk thru when I finally got to step into the lot, he explained the warranties with the house and the appliances the do's and don't of house maintenance. He help spot out imperfections that even I missed while we blue taped. Even after getting my own inspector to give a good look around the house he only spotter minior inconveniences and was impressed with the complete house build. Over all the experiance was very stressful free for me even while out of state especially being my first home purchase. I highly recommend these guys if your looking into getting you very own home!

My sales person, Maria S was very helpful, communicative and informative for my home buying process. She stayed on top of things, and I really appreciate her stepping up since Eden Macia didn’t even do what we had asked of him.

We had an amazing experience with Shelly. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. She took the time to answer all our questions and truly cared about making sure we felt confident every step of the way.
