had a wonderful experience with this company. They were professional, punctual, reasonably priced, and, most importantly, extremely detail-oriented. The inspector took the time to carefully go through every single item on his inspection checklist. As a first-time homebuyer, I had a lot of questions, and he patiently answered each one, making sure I understood everything. The final inspection report was very well organized and included plenty of clear, detailed photos. I also hired them for a reinspection after the seller completed the requested repairs. Once again, the inspector thoroughly reviewed everything and identified several issues with the repairs that could have turned into expensive problems if they had gone unnoticed. Overall, it was a five-star experience from start to finish. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a thorough, knowledgeable, and trustworthy home inspection company.

After researching various home inspection companies, I confidently chose Texan Inspection Services. I was assigned to Derek Myers, who was responsible for inspecting my new home, which is under purchase agreement. Being still within the option period and eager to ensure everything was in order, I wanted a thorough inspection before committing. Since the home is newly constructed, I needed to verify that the fit and finish, as well as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and exterior components, were properly completed. Derek arrived promptly at 9 AM the next day and conducted a comprehensive, day-long inspection. Within 24 hours, I received a detailed 47-page report that included photo documentation, written assessments, and recommended remedies for each identified deficiency. Derek provided clear solutions for every issue outlined in his report. His detailed report empowered me to negotiate effectively with the builder to have the necessary work completed. Despite discovering several deficiencies, none were critical enough to halt the purchase. I was thoroughly impressed with Derek’s quality of work and communication skills. Not only did I receive a thorough report, but I also had a productive 30-minute phone call discussing the findings. I am confident that I received excellent value for the service provided. Derek’s performance was exceptional, and I highly recommend this inspection service. Very detailed and thorough inspection. David took the time to document not only visible deficiencies, but also long-term concerns related to sealing, moisture protection, HVAC performance, insulation, siding installation, and overall construction quality. I especially appreciated the use of thermal imaging, drone roof inspection, detailed photos, and the clear explanations provided throughout the report. The inspection felt very comprehensive and much more technical than a standard visual walkthrough. The report gave me a much better understanding of the property and helped identify several items that could have easily been overlooked in a new construction home. Highly recommended if you want a truly detailed inspection.

Recently we bought a home in Katy, since we are in Dallas, and not able to see the property in person. We highly depend on Steve McCaddon do a great inspection job for us. Actually he did, he inspect everything especially he answer all our concern about the property. He is very responsive when we called him, he gave detailed explanation of each question we have. We got a very good sense about the property we are buying. There are a few defects, we talked to seller, and got seller agree to repair them. Fantastic job, Steve, thank you!

I have only excellent things to say about this company and our inspector Steve. Steve performed two inspections for us in the Past 30 days. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and beyond thorough. His reports are very clear and easy to follow. He reports back in a timely manner and follows up to ensure all questions or answered. I highly recommend this company.
