Had an amazing experience at Tavern by Hearsay tonight. Talijah gave some of the best service I’ve had in a long time. She was attentive, professional, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Out of all the servers I’ve dealt with here, she has honestly been the best. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers and takes pride in her work. Definitely deserves recognition and needs to be moved up. Great food, great atmosphere, but her service is what really stood out tonight. Highly recommend asking for Talijah if you stop by.
We went on Christmas Day. It was busy that day, and we had to wait for some time. They had a variety of food. There were only a few vegetarian options, though. The shrimp and sausage were good. Chole Bhature was also good. The veg pakoras could be better. Overall, I liked the service and atmosphere of the place.
We mostly got drinks. At first the service was a little on the snappy side but after a few rounds he warmed up to us. We did order the Monte Cristo egg rolls (mostly just BBQ in a fried egg roll) but I all in all we had a great time.
We recently had our annual reunion of colleagues and friends that had worked together at Continental Airlines, including 3 prior CEOs, at Hearsay Tavern and were blown away by the service and attention to details. We had about 30 people attend and the staff decorated the restaurant beautifully for Christmas, the drinks, food and service were amazing. The fact that we took over the entire restaurant just made it super special. Kudos to the entire team, Kevin, Jasmin, Crystal, Colby and our sales person Angela. Everyone really did a top notch job, highly recommend checking it out especially for mid-size parties! We will be back next year!
The Valentine’s Day menu had a great selection. We got the steak and salmon and both were cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed our cocktails, appetizers and desert as well. Crystal was a phenomenal waiter and gave us perfect suggestions for food and drinks. Service was great and the waitstaff were all attentive and kind.
