We went for the Thursday Dosa night. The dosas are huge and have great variety. There is also big puris and appetizers included. And the dosas are unlimited! Great options like mysore, podi, onion, ghee roast dosas! Definitely worth the buck and very affordable.
We stopped by for the buffet and really enjoyed it. The food was fresh, tasty, and had that authentic South Indian homemade flavor. There were plenty of choices, and everything was well organized and kept fresh. The staff were friendly and the place had a nice, comfortable vibe. Good value for the price overall, and definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m craving South Indian food. My kids enjoyed the little candy they gave at the end, and they also stayed happy watching the kids channel while we ate.
Tried the Friday lunch buffet today. Really fresh and great food spread and live counter serving piping hot aapam & kuzhi paniyaram & idiyappam. Very humble and friendly staff. Definitely recommend Thanjai mess for all food lovers who would like to try South Indian cuisine. Will definitely go back.
The lunch buffet was moderately satisfying, we tried the weekend buffet. While the starters could have been better, the crab curry, fish curry, and the mutton biryani was mild not over powering. It is worth one-time try for buffet lovers!
STAY AWAY! It was good, they changed the chef. It’s rotten. We ordered 5 curries tonight. Called up uber saying they were revolting. The restaurant does not refund any of the trash they sell…. Example picture of the chicken kurma. My dogs dinner is more appealing…
