Took my wife here for her birthday dinner. It was our second time at the restaurant and we were reminded why we liked it in the first place. I had the Gulf Red Snapper and my wife had the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, piccolo size. My dish was delicious. The whole grilled fish is an amazing sight, and it tastes even better. The white sauce it sits in is very comforting, savory, creamy and delicious! The dish as a 10/10! My wife’s pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the sauce was very light and tasty! For desert we ordered the strawberry panna cotta to share which was very velvety, light and delicious while not being extremely sweet which we loved. They also threw in a brownie fudge with whipped cream for her birthday which we also loved!

I was very excited to try Marmo because I heard from several friends that’s their pasta was incredible. Unfortunately, this was not the case. While our server was great and we were treated well, the food was basically flavorless. I ordered the bolognese and it needed a lot of salt and lacked the depth of flavor typical of a traditional bolognese sauce. My wife ordered the quail gnocchi and while the pasta was cooked well, it was literally flavorless. Even the truffle shavings had zero taste. The Brussels sprouts were soggy and again flavorless besides the few at the bottom soaked in sauce. As a side note, the mushrooms were very tasty and the valet validation was nice. We were very disappointed and spent too much money for this meal. We will likely not return.

I had the occasion to go during the start of Restaurant Week, and absolutely loved the food, service, and atmosphere there. The food was the main star, as everything was so good. If you do get anything, the cowboy ribeye (not pictured ugh) is a must get. Be warned, on the website it doesn't show the +$35 upcharge for it. It's such a deal still, but just be warned. I did contact the website to hopefully make a correction. The tiramisu was so light, I could have had another one easily. But it was definitely a wonderful end to an awesome meal with friends. I was lucky to go with friends and be able to try so many options there! If I have an occasion to go again, will try more options on their home menu!

Super nice restaurante in Montrose. Parking is a bit of a challenge but if you valet they validate it which is good. Food and service was excellent. We went for Saturday lunch with a reservation. It wasn’t super busy. They had a nice set menu also with good prices.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in Houston! The ambience of the place is truly intimate and very pleasing. We had an amazing server who walked us through both the menu and the drink catalog. We got the spicy vodka pasta, and the squid in pasta as well, and both were truly a divine, I would definitely recommend this place in, but you could also do group gatherings as well! Definitely check it out ☺️
