⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five-Star Review for Potente Italian Restaurant My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Potente Italian Restaurant, and from start to finish, the experience was exceptional! For appetizers, I ordered the Carpaccio, featuring Texas Prime Wagyu, horseradish ricotta, pickled lily mushrooms, and 1836 olive oil. The flavors were perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the Lattuga, made with romaine chiffonade, boquerone crostini, parmesan ribbons, and Caesar dressing. It was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. For our entrées, I ordered the salmon, which was cooked to perfection, while my wife enjoyed a spaghetti pasta dish that was incredibly delicious. Every bite of every dish exceeded our expectations. As amazing as the food was, the hospitality truly made the evening unforgettable. Rodney and Amy went above and beyond to make our dining experience first-class. They took the time to explain the menu, offered excellent recommendations, and ensured our glasses were never empty. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests were outstanding. A special thank you to Marco, the manager, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the night. He graciously took pictures for us and made sure everything was perfect from beginning to end. Exceptional from start to finish. The truffle pasta lived up to the hype, the steak was perfectly cooked, and the service was impeccable. Elegant without feeling pretentious, with an atmosphere that makes you want to linger over another glass of wine. We’ll definitely be back.
It is a rare joy to dine at a restaurant where 'fantastic' is the baseline for every single dish. Chef Danny creates something memorable. From the first course to the final bite, this was a masterclass in culinary balance. Every dish felt intentional, featuring incredibly fresh ingredients that were elevated by a brilliant play of textures. The flavors don't just sit on the palate; they burst and evolve. It is rare to find a kitchen that maintains this level of consistency across an entire menu. In my opinion, it’s only a matter of time before the Michelin inspectors take notice. Truly an elite experience. A special thanks to Juan who kept our glasses filled w water, Emily who balanced her role as bar tender and waitress, Andrea & his fellow Somelier( didnt catch his name, young Hispanic gentleman) who recommended a beautiful bottle of wine that paired with our meal. Came here for our anniversary, wanting great food and a romantic atmosphere. This place did not disappoint. Service was smooth and friendly from start to finish. The food came out fast and everything was amazing. This isn’t a cheap place, but it was 100% worth the splurge. Definitely a place I would come back to and recommend.
Came here with my wife to celebrate Valentine's a little early, and we would highly recommend! All of the food was excellent. The truffle fries came out well-salted, crisp, and piping hot and you could actually taste truffle. The truffle pasta was well-seasoned, and cooked to just the right texture. My wife got the scallops and they had an excellent sear on them. I got the beef rib with risotto which was incredibly tender. Everything here was well-seasoned and came out hot and fresh, something that we really appreciate. I didn't get our server's name, but he had great recommendations and was very attentive. They also have a happy hour menu which is nice, because it is fairly pricey.
