Came during Houston Restaurant Weeks and immediately understood the almost 5 star rating. We also lucked out and made it for social hour, which is absolutely worth it. The oysters were fantastic, we actually ordered more! The service was next level. Our water glasses never got low, empty plates vanished almost instantly, and the staff somehow managed to be everywhere without hovering. We added a couple of their signature nigiri, and one bite literally made me tell my friend, “Stop talking.” It deserved my full attention. This was the kind of food that makes you stop and say, “Wow.” I can’t remember the last time I had flavors that surprised me like that. We loved every single thing that came out and honestly wanted to order another round of everything. Easily the best sushi experience I’ve had. I will be back!

We had the omakase service plus sake tasting. We were especially hungry so we added one additional roll to our meal. Everything was delicious, beautifully prepared, and well described by the front of house staff. I would gladly come back here when I’m in Houston.

We came here to celebrate Valentine’s Day and my birthday a little early. Gorgeous romantic atmosphere. My favorite was the scallop roll. It had a delicious hint of citrus; good creamy texture with a perfect finish of seaweed. The oysters were also great. The quality of the fish was perfect, and we appreciated the creativity that went into each dish. We sat at the bar and got to see them pick fresh herbs to use as garnish in the rolls. We didn’t try the omakaze because I wanted to try a little of everything off the menu. The mocktails were ok. I was looking for something like a sweet mixture with pineapple juice. But otherwise, it wasn’t bad. Great restaurant, would come again.

Tonight was our first time to try Aiko and we were very impressed. We had the NYE Omakase and some additional nigiri, and everything was exceptionally good. The fish quality was very good, as well as course composition. A bonus for the evening was the hall entrance to the restrooms, such a fun amd picture worthy display. We will definitely go back!

Went to Aiko for the first time last night and was blown away. Everything from the staff, the atmosphere, and especially the food, was beyond great. We tried 14 different dishes on the menu, but two absolute musts are the oysters with yuzu, and the foie gras nigiri. I have not stopped thinking about the foie gras nigiri for the last 24 hours. MUST TRY.
