5⭐ Came here for a birthday dinner with a larger group and as soon as you walk in, it's a pretty cool experience just to see everything. They have a bar that you can order drinks at while you wait, it was easy to reserve and they did not make us wait long for the table to be ready. When we were seated they were quick to get everyone's order for appetizers and drinks, once that was settled they came and got our food orders smoothly. The server who had help was very attentive and on everything for our table. When the food came out, everything came out in a timely manner and no issues with none of our meals. The food was exceptional, bursting with flavors and delicious. Everything was fresh and the different blends of everything were just perfect. The drinks were yummy and worth it. We left very satisfied with our visit and plan to go again to try some new dishes.

Came here for a sponsored dinner and it did not disappoint! The happy hour has a decent number of cocktail and drink options and also food, the ube martini was creamy and delicious. I also tried the yantai orchard which was not overly gingery but tiki style. Most of the drinks were Japanese style with a twist. The wagyu was very tender and satisfied my steak craving. We tried sides of edamame, pork belly, short rib tacos, truffle fries, crispy rice, and Mac n cheese. All of these were decent but not standout. The pork belly got a little tough. The crispy Thai chile shrimp was very good and well flavored. For dessert we tried ube cheesecake (yummy!) and the chocolate bombe which was just ok. Both were very rich and hard to eat more than a few bites.

After-work happy hour turned into the best solo night out. I’d heard the hype about this spot, and it absolutely delivered. From the moment I walked in, the energy was warm and welcoming service started right away. JC, my server, was incredible. Not only super knowledgeable about the menu, but she made the whole night feel like an experience, not just a meal. Now the food… WOW. I’ll admit I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to Japanese cuisine, but they exceeded expectations. The hamachi and wagyu were unreal, now do I understand the hype. The drinks were just as impressive; the Japanese whiskey was smooth with a stronger kick than expected. All recommended by JC, so trust me when I say she knows her stuff! And the finale? Ube cheesecake and pandan cocktails that honestly felt curated by God himself. Safe to say I’ll be back next time with my husband and friends. This place delivers on every level.

Celebrated my birthday at Haii Keii and it was phenomenal. The space has this Tokyo lounge aesthetic dark, moody, energetic but still refined. We started with truffle hamachi, spicy edamame, lobster dumplings, and a hamachi serrano roll ..all excellent. The highlight was the wagyu tasting across Kagoshima, Miyazaki, and Makoto prefectures. Truly top-tier quality and perfectly prepared. The cocktail program and Japanese whisky selection are outstanding (rare Hibiki and Yamazaki pours included). We happened to go on a weekday evening when everything was 50% off incredible value for this level of food. Easily one of the best modern Japanese dining experiences in Houston. Perfect for celebrations or a Tokyo-style night out. If you get the honor of having Jacie as your server you will have the best night ever.

Excellent spot with great food and cool vibe. The service was a bit subpar but food did indeed come out quick. Drinks were good. The thai chile shrimp was good but the pork belly app was amazing and a bit spicy. Portion sizes are quite large as you can see by the tasty truffle fries in the pics. Everything tasted fresh and hot with the steak having great flavor. To finish it off the desserts were really good but preferred the cheesecake over the twix cake as it was a bit hard to cut/eat. The clase azul caviar shot was a nice finishing touch. Definitely will be back to explore more of the menu.
