Excellent sushi and a great experience overall. The food was incredibly fresh, and the sea urchin was especially delicious. It was rich, creamy, and one of the highlights of the meal. My wife loved everything as well, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We came here on Marco Boneta’s recommendation, and it exceeded our expectations. We were traveling with our service dogs, and the hostesses were incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our server, Nguyen B, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. Every dish was of exceptional quality, incredibly fresh, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was warm, family-friendly, and the location is fantastic. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. We would definitely come back without hesitation and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for outstanding food and service.

This place has got to be the one of the best Japanese food I have had in a loooong time! The dining room was lovely and our waiter Kai was so attentive and helpful with suggestions. The Nagasaki ramen has got to be some of the best ramen I have ever had and the beef skewers were so tender. In our opinion, the lamb gyoza was okay compared the rest of the amazing dishes so maybe skip it. Will definitely be back again. ❤️❤️also recommend reservation, when we arrived for our reservation the place already had a line

Had a wonderful experience at Kata Robata in Houston. The service was outstanding, attentive, friendly, and made the entire evening enjoyable. The food was exceptional, especially the miso soup and edamame, which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. Simple dishes done perfectly really stand out, and Kata Robata delivered. The quality and attention to detail are evident in every bite. And can we talk about the restrooms? The heated toilet seats and built-in bidet were an unexpected luxury and such a fun touch! It’s those little details that elevate the overall experience and show how much thought goes into every aspect of the restaurant. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to and would highly recommend to anyone looking for outstanding Japanese cuisine and exceptional hospitality in Houston. A memorable experience from start to finish!

I’ll Start saying that the food is AMAZING out of this world but my rating is the overall experience, I went alone to have dinner today and I was greet at the entrance, everything was correct here. Because it was just 1 person they offered seating at the sushi bar. I had to wait a little bit for my server to arrive, then I ordered the food, everything was asome but my server kept going and getting lost for a long time. I ordered dessert at the end and they took like 15 minutes to get an ice cream. My server came after a while to go see what happened with the ice cream and he shows up after 30 seconds with it i obviously said I didn’t want it and ordered the check. This is my only complaint, probably this won’t happen in a table I suppose, as an advice please assign a dedicated server for the sushi bar, because it happened to me and to another couple that arrived after me they had to wait a while to order, they even asked a sushi chef to order the food and he agreed to take their order
