We ate here a second time and it was just as good as the first time. They have great all day happy hour on Wednesday. Started with the oysters and they were delicious! Decided on the chefs menu and it did not disappoint, we got a few pictures but most of the courses we devoured before we thought of taking a photo. Ended with the durian crème brûlée and it was fantastic! Met Cong (owner) and he was jovial and helped us with how to eat the oysters with a little extra heat. Staff is friendly and helpful. We will be back, this place is a hidden gem.
We came out to celebrate my wife’s birthday since we’re recommended by several friends and clients of mine, man it did not disappoint! The service was great and the food was delicious! Not your typical sushi restaurant but I definitely loved the salmon crudo, hand rolls and the kinmadai and kanpachi nigiri I’ve never had before! We’ll definitely be back!
Small sushi bar more of a lounge. there is seating at the bar and some on the side along with some small round tables. They have some specials throughout the week. I tried their omakase which was a reasonable price of $70 per person. They also have a good happy hour for drinks. The omakase we had was a 10 course. All of the dishes had its own unique flavor. First was a nigiri of yellowtail, scallop, otoro, and foie gras. My favorite was the scallop. There was Chawanmushi which you either get it with foie gras or crab. I enjoyed the crab the most.
ame here a few times with my partner for their Sunday AYCE Omakase for my birthday and anniversary. We love this place so much for sushi! The omakase gave us a good idea on what we like best. Now, we come and order off the à la carte. The foie gras chawanmushi and hamachi hand roll are our favorites. The owner is so nice and friendly, love it when he’s around!
The foie gras chawanmushi was amazing and the tofu in it is hot and melts in your mouth. The hand rolls are very fresh and the madai was my favorite. The lollipop lamb chops were tender and came out hot. The truffle mushroom pasta was actually really good and loved how it came out. Recommend making a reservation before coming because the place is small and bar seating will be your last resort instead of a table.
